Trail DescriptionThe Burton Island trail begins just west of the dry stack boat storage building. Hikers will travel over a packed and loose sandy surface through upland forests and over two elevated boardwalks that provide views of the Indian River Bay, the Rehoboth Bay, and of the open salt marsh. Visitors may see a variety of birds, plants, fish, reptiles, and mammals.
