1 Introduction
The ACCUSIM project aims to identify, develop and apply accurate, high-fidelity CFD approaches for
the numerical predictions of the unsteady, turbulent and possibly cavitating flow in hydraulic
turbines, pumps and marine propellers, and to develop advanced shape and functional optimization
strategies for the best design of these systems.
During the 48 months of the project (between February 2014 and end of January 2018), many
dissemination and outreach activities were performed. This report presents dissemination through
direct communication channels. In order to cover scientific community, broader technical
community, university students and high-school pupils, as well as the companies, different direct
communication channels were used (Table 1).

5 Conclusions This deliverable presents dissemination activities of the ACCUSIM project, obtained through direct
communication channels. The scientific community was reached through numerous conferences,
workshop papers, presentations or posters. General technical community was reached through
presentations at user's meetings. Students and high-school pupils were reached through
presentations during visits at KTI and through presentations at UniTS. Enterprises, students and
university community were reached through the organized summer school.
During the 48 months of the project direct communication channels presented an important part of
the dissemination. It is expected that some of the results will be presented also in the forthcoming
conference(s) in 2018, with due acknowledgement of the ACCUSIM project funding.
