Horbury Pageant PlayersHorbury Pageant Players is Horbury’s own amateur drama
society. It has been in existence over 40 years with some of its former members going on to larger productions and TV work. The enthusiasm of its current members, whose ages range
from 6 to 60+, is second to noneEach year they perform a pantomime in Horbury Academy and
the production this year is “Mother Goose”, which promises to serve up classic pantomime jokes and characters. It runs
during half term week from Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st February and tickets are available from Star Travel, Queen St,
Horbury and are priced at £6 for adults, £5 for Concessions and a family ticket £20 (2 adults + 2 children under 16).

Patient Participation Group of Prospect Surgery - Ossett The group meets every 2 months and would welcome new members who
are patients at the Prospect Practice at the Health Village,Ossett. The dates for 2015 meetings, which all start at 2.00pm are;
March 12th, May 13th, July 9th, September 23rd and November 12th. These may be subject to date and time changes. There is a lot of
information on the Practice website www.prospectsurgery-ossett.co.uk . If you are unable to attend the meetings it would be useful for any
feedback to go on the website. One of the concerns is the number of appointments that are missed, both for doctors and nurses which
can't be reallocated due to the surgery not being informed. Any suggestions to help solve this would be very welcome.
East Ardsley Art Club would like to welcome new members. We meet every Wednesday in term
time from 7 - 9 p.m. in St. Michael's church hall, East Ardsley. We have members of all abilities, even complete beginners, who work mostly in watercolour or coloured pencil, and have regular demonstrations from

The local fundraising volunteers in Wakefield are looking for an Organiser and a Trading Secretary to help run their group. The Organiser writes out to locations for collection dates, sends thank
