Inverter technology has been designed to allow electronic control of the air conditioner and automatically adjust the cooling and heating capacity according to the space.

Inverter air conditioners offer maximum energy ef�ciency. The hermetic twin rotary compressor with BLD motor (permanent magnet) changes operating speeds based on requirements and the

set temperature. Therefore, the air conditioner always operates at its optimum capacity, reaching the ideal temperature and then maintaining it over time without thermal swings:

in fact, once the desired temperature has been reached, capacity is automatically adjusted to keep the temperature within +/– .05°C of the set point.

By using DC inverter technology, De'Longhi air conditioners guarantee the best comfort at all times, keeping the room temperature and humidity constant. The precise electronics deliver real energy savings, as power consumption is limited to effective requirements, particularly in periods of average and low thermal load (morning or evening). During the hotter and more humid times (middle of the day), the inverter air conditioners are especially effective, as they are designed to rapidly reach the ideal temperature, with the cooling capacity exceeding the rated output of the appliance.

The above graph clearly shows the operation of the Inverter throughout the day: while remaining on, the air conditioner operates in different modes, adapting to the outside climate conditions and consequently only consuming the energy required to maintain the desired temperature.

THE PROCESS IN ACTION

An advanced �ltration system that effectively removes impurities and odours from the air. It is made up of speci�cally designed composite �lters. Firstly the air passes through a dust �lter which traps larger dust particles and atmospheric dust, which are drawn in from the air in the room.

The second process in the �ltering system is the silver Ion �lter. This �lter has an ef�cient antibacterial action which greatly reduces concentrations of irritants such as pollen

and spores. The �lter is treated with small particles of silver which are able to block the multiplication of and kill any nearby airborne bacteria. The process will also remove unpleasant odours which keeps the air fresh.

The 3M �lter is electrostatically charged and retains the �nest dust particles. Working together the system will deliver a high �ltration capacity and return fresh �ltered air to the room.

Smart Mode creates ideal comfort conditions in the room.

The appliance automatically establishes whether to operate in Cooling, Heating, Fan Only, or Standby Mode, depending on environmental conditions. Fan Speed and Temperature are also automatically set in this mode.

I-Comfort is used to set the desired temperature at the exact point where the remote is located.

The temperature is measured by the sensor in the remote control, bypassing the temperature sensor inside the air conditioner unit.

By locating the sensor at the remote control location, and by reading the temperature every 10 minutes, the ambient room temperature is always at the perfect comfort level.
