The Health Sector has clinical audit and clinical governance
Social care sector is being brought into the system of auditing as a strategy to improve the quality of care.
Improvement or Monitoring
The care audit is about improving care, not monitoring performance and most audits have nothing to do with any external review process, it’s an internal self review process.
