Fire alarm

What to do in case of a fire alarm:

1. Stay calm and listen to instruction from your manager (or safety officer)

2. Lead customers/visitors and staff to the best escape route to an emergency exit

3. Help disabled people

4. Do not let customers walk through the warehouse

5. Secure goods and cash closes down

6. Stay together, close to a safe place and wait for further instructions

FireWhat to do in case of a fire:

1. SOUND THE ALARM!

2. Call 112 and give follow information: your nameaddress and buildingfloorRoom numberType of incident

1. Wet and place cloth material around and under the door to prevent smoke from entering

2. Close as many doors as possible between you and the fire

3. Signal someone outside, but do nog break glass until absolutely necessary

1. Drop to the floor and crawl toward an exit

2. Stay as low as possible

3. Take shallow breaths through your nose and use a shirt or towel as a filter

If a bomb threat is received by phone:

1. Remain calm and use checklist2. Keep the caller on the phone as long as

possible3. Immediately call Safety and Security

If a bomb is received by mail, employees should:

1. Not handle the envelope or package2. Leave immediate area3. Immediately call Safety and Security

Department

When is the bomb going to explode? Where is the bomb right now? What kind of bomb is it? What does it look like?

Medical Emergency

What to do in an medical emergency:

1. Stay calm, so you can think clear

2. If life threatening call national emergency number first and inform your safety officer

3. Do not move a seriously injured person.

4. Quickly perform four steps of the checklist.

5. Prepare for arrival of emergency services and point them to the scene

Check breathing, start CPR if necessary and if you are trained

Control serious bleeding by directpressure on the wound

Keep victim still and comfortable Remain with victim until help arrives

Gas leakWhat to do if you smell natural gas:

1. Stay calm and leave the building at once

2. Do not turn on or turn off any lights or electrical equipment

3. Do not use any telephone or cell phone in the building or house.

4. Do not sound the fire alarm

5. Turn off the gas tap

6. Call national emergency number and/or gas emergency

Criminal behavior

What to do when you observe criminal behavior:

1. Immediately notify your manager or the national emergency number

2. Report as much information as possible

3. Do not approach or attempt to apprehend the person(s) involved!
