RTTC Hyderabad

1. Regional Telecom Training Centre has been established in 1973 at Hyderabad by Department of Telecommunications to impart training to their staff.This training center is situated in 45 acres land at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This comprises of Administrative cum academic block, Hostel Block etc.

2. B.Tech and Diploma in Electronics and Communications engineering education is broad based and students do not have specific skills required for the different sectors of the industry as they are not exposed to the technologies and equipment in use.

3. Keeping this in mind to provide knowledge and skills for specific activities so that the students possess employable skills from day one, customised training programmes have been designed and offered to freshers and persons with some experience.

RTTC is also conducting courses for the faculty of ECE for the proficiency up-gradation of their skills and knowledge.As a part of this RTTC has designed 4 training programs of 1 week duration in (a) Mobile Communications (including 2G, 3G and Wi-MAX) (b) Optical Fibre Communications (including O.F Cable and O.F Systems) (c ) Broad Band and Networking (inclusive of Access technologies, BB equipment and Router configurations) (d) Switching Technologies (including analog & digital switching techniques, Various signalling concepts and practicals on Digital Exchanges)

of Govt. polytechnic colleges sponsored by Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Courses for Departmental

• Several courses are being conducted for all the cadres of BSNL:– Induction Courses – TTA, JTO, JAO etc.– Inservice Courses – in all latest Telecom

technologies to all cadres– Upgradation Courses – Different courses are

being conducted to various cadres (E1-E2, E2-E3, E3-E4 etc.)

– Workshops & Seminars on latest issues / technologies.

are available at RTTC Hyderabad for all the trainees @ Rs 50/- per day per trainee for lodging and Rs 96/- per day per trainee for boarding.

Industrial / In-Plant Trainings• These trainings will be conducted for second / third

year engineering students• Course Structure

– Course-I - Delivery at RTTC (3 Hrs per day and 3 days per week)• (Lecture: 4 sessions+ Lab/Site Visit: 2 sessions/ week)• Level-A: Six Weeks Total fee = Rs.6618.00 (Incl. ST)• Level-B: Four Weeks Total fee = Rs.4412.00 (Incl. ST)

– Course-II - Delivery at District Head Quarters - Four Weeks• (Lecture: 2 sessions+ Site Visit: 2 sessions/ week)• (3 Hrs per day and 2 days per week)

• Total course fee = Rs.2758 (Incl. ST)

– Duration will be customized ( Full day sessions, daily, based upon the requests / convenience of the students)

Mini Projects

• These trainings will be conducted for third year engineering students (ECE/CSC/IT)

• Course Structure– Delivery at RTTC– 16 to 18 hours in house program and guidance

for the total project period.– Total Fee = Rs.4412 (Incl. ST)

Major Projects

• These trainings will be conducted for final year engineering students (ECE/CSC/IT)

• Course Structure– Delivery at RTTC– 32 to 36 hours in house program and guidance

for the total project period.– Total Fee = Rs.6618 (Incl. ST)

BSNL Certified Courses

• BSNL Certified GSM RF Engineer– Course Duration: 4 weeks full time in house training at

RTTC & 4 weeks full time on site field training in district head quarters of Andhra Pradesh.

– Regn fees: Rs 331/- and Course Fee: Rs.33,090 (Incl. ST)

• BSNL Certified OFC Engineer– Course Duration: 2 weeks at RTTC– Regn fees: Rs 111/- and Course Fee: Rs.9,927/- (Incl. ST)
