EVENT Tip

From Friday, 14th September until Tuesday, 18th September the 1st Weidener Volksfest will take place. Besides amusement rides, snack bars and a beer tent, the new folk festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere. Many attractions for young and old like a trade exhibition, a classic flea market and a night flea market (Friday and Saturday) will attract a lot of visitors. On the last day of the folk festival a brilliant fireworks show will delight the visitors.

WEidENEr VolksfEsTEThe city of Weiden invites you to its Volksfeste on the fairground in Conrad-Röntgen-Straße. Various attractions and breathtaking amusement rides promise a great day with your family.

82nd WEidENEr frühliNgsfEsTThis year the 82nd Weidener Frühlingsfest takes place from Friday, 27th April until Sunday, 6th May 2018. In addition to many attractions there is a huge choice of culinary products. Typical specialties such as pretzels, cheese, fish sandwich, “Steckerlfisch”, crêpes, “Dotsch”, sweets and much more are offered. Do not miss the brilliant fireworks on Friday, 27th April and 4th May at 10.00 pm. In the large marquee a colorful program with traditional brass music and “Highline’s” party music expects you.
