The baking case is to baking what
the frame is to a work of art.
Chosen with care, it highlights the
exquisite content, strengthens the
overall impression and contributes
to a tasteful overall experience.
DENNA DELEN SKA INTE VARA MED!
Tielman is a 3rd generation family owned company
founded in Sweden in 1930. As for many other
family businesses problem solving has been, and
still is, the driving force for success.
Every baking case is an opportunityFrom denesting and arranging to baking, possible
freezing, and packaging. Every need can be ful filled.
It is mainly a question of resources, experience
– and skill.
We have the resources, from small, specialised
production equipment to large-scale facilities with
high capacity for long series. The professional
experience and skills of our employees guarantee
that each step of the process is carried out in the
best possible manner. Our depth of experience
allow us to support our customers in their product
development – and modify the production equip-
ment if necessary.
Sustainable development is an opportunityOur environmental concern is founded in our
specialisation on paper cases as an eco-friendly
alternative to aluminium foils or plastic-coated
carton board. Most of our suppliers are FSC
certified which means their paper come from
socially and environmentally responsible forest
manage ment.
We meet the strictest hygiene standards
and, since 2006, we have a BRC/IoP hygiene
certificate.
Breaking habits is an opportunityColour-dyed paper is often used for different
types of baking cases, but these qualities are only
approved for direct contact with foodstuff – not
baking.
This applies, for exmple, to chocolate brown
paper used for pie cases and muffin cases. An
approved alternative is the new ”Golden quality”,
with a printed exterior if required.
AuthenticAuthenticity and credibility have always been
central values in our business culture. Our
ambition is that they shall permeate our entire
business operations, from the quality of our
products to the close co-operation with our
customers.
FlexibleFlexibility has become an even more important
component of all our production. This offers us
the capacity to meet our customers’ needs for
rapid production line changeovers with short
set-up and delivery times.
InventiveThe baking industry has long-standing and
firmly based traditions. At the same time, it
offers scope for new ideas, both in respect of
new bakery products and modified production
and packaging methods.

Baking Cases
Traditional baking cases form the basis of our range and are of renowned high quality
and available in several different sizes, with or without print and in several different paper
qualities. The majority of our customers use automatic cup dispensers for denesting the
cases, which is why a consistent and high quality is required. That is assured throughout
manufacture in specially designed machines with considerable accuracy with regard to
dimensions and style.
Muffin Cases
With these stiff cases with a brim you are able to bake large muffins directly on a steel
belt oven or on plates without any further support. They can be separated and dispensed
by hand or in automatic cup dispensers.
The cases come in several different standard models and are available in white
or unbleached genuine Scandinavian Greaseproof paper as well as with print in up to
4 colours. There are several different paper qualities to choose among, for example
silicon-coated greaseproof paper.
In addition to our standard dimensions, several different brim sizes are available.
Several models are available as “x-wide”, with an extra wide brim to give the muffins
a mushroom-shaped top.
Muffin Wraps and Tulip Cases
The latest addition to the muffin family takes the form of our muffin wraps and tulip
cases. These cases provide an entirely new impression and have proved to be a welcome
alternative for those who wish to stand out among the crowd. Each case is pressed
individually and the tools are so constructed that each case is unique. The cases are
available in white or unbleached paper as well as with their own print/design up to 4
colours.
In addition to our standard sizes it is, of course, possible to make many different
variations, sizes and styles. We are pleased to assist in designing your own type of cases.
Pie cases
For environmental reasons these cases are increasingly chosen in preference to aluminium
cases or plastic-coated cardboard. Our pressed paper cases are available in several
different strong greaseproof paper qualities, speci fi c ally produced for these types of
products, and have a pressed edge that makes the case very stable. The material is
grease-resistant, withstands deep-freezing, defrosting, microvawe heating and is bio-
degradable. They work excellently in automatic cup dispensers and allow the use of
metal detector for increased product safety. Major adjustments are rarely necessary for
a customer to change over from aluminium to paper cases, since these are normally
tailor-made to suit the customer’s requirements.
Baking trays
Baking trays are primarily used for different types of sponge cakes and are made of a
specially produced corrugated paper. The inside layer consists of a silicon-coated grease-
proof paper quality to enable the pastry to easily separate from the case after baking.
A stronger paper quality with high whiteness is used on the outside for enhanced
stability and good printing properties
The cases are made only from environmentally approved material and contain
no plastics or other environmentally doubtful raw materials.
In addition to our standard sizes, special sizes can be made without major initial
costs.
Muffin Trays
Our muffin trays are available in 3 basic types, each with flexibility to be used in many
different applications. The trays can be printed as can the cases. They are all available
in different designs (up to 4 colours) and, moreover, in several different paper qualities.
It is even possible to combine different case decorations on the same tray.
The framework is perforated and can easily be divided into smaller parts. In addition
to the standard designs, the trays can also be delivered with custom-made designs.
Packaging solutions
Our cardboard trays are suitable for efficient and convenient handling, not only through-
out the entire baking process, but also during transport. They can be adapted in size
and shape to any of our products. The standard version is primarily intended for our
tulip cases and muffin wraps but also works well with certain sizes of muffin cases, pie
cases and baking cases. The trays are supplied flat for manual folding or glued for easier
handling.
Most of our products also come in different pack sizes. This is primarily a service
required by our wholesaler or distributor customers.
Our products are normally sold bulk packed, but for customers that address the
consumer market some of our products can be offered enumerated, making re-packing
easier.
Delicious pastry are created with
carefully selected ingredients.
But rational bakery production
also call for a trustful process
where bakery equipment and
baking cases works perfectly
together.
Modern industrial bakeries require an effective production process that
guarantees accuracy, capacity, quality and flexibility. But a problem-free
production process, from automatic denesting to baking, freezing (when
applicable) and packing is only achieved if the processing equipment and
baking cases are adapted to each other.
FunctionalOur business concept is based on developing and adapting our products
to each customer’s needs. For that reason, along with our own research
and product development, we co-operate with several leading suppliers
of machinery and production equipment for the bakery and food industry.
Each bakery needs a specific case suitable for their own baking process.
By connecting our unique skills we can customize functional bakery concepts
and meet the customer’s need for exquisite baking results.
