ADVOCACY EFFORTS
AHAND and member CDCs advocated for:
• Creation of housing trust fund with portion of bond proceeds
• HTF oversight group
RESULTS• City Council established the BeltLine Affordable Housing Advisory Board (“BAHAB”) - AHAND has joint appointment of one seat
• BeltLine TAD authorizing legislation requires 15% of net bond proceeds capitalize the BeltLine Affordable Housing Trust Fund (“BAHTF”)
• 5,600 unit goal established by City Council• 2,800 unit goal without APS participation

• Community benefits for BeltLine: City requires all developments to include CB principles of prevailing wage; use of apprenticeship & pre-apprenticeship programs; First Source Hiring; others principles desired by community
