Bharat Scouts and Guides :

Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) Unit was introduced in Government First Grade College. Sirsi (U.K) in the year 2012-13, falling under the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Kannada District Association. The National Scouting and Guiding is an association of India. Bharat Scouts and Guides is an education with its own characteristics. BSG works on different groups-Family, School College, Society- unit feeling and happiness.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides is a Voluntary , non-Political, educational movement for young people open to all without distinction of origin Race or Creed, accordance with the purpose, principles and method conceived by the Founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907.

Adventure : Trucking camping, hiking, mountaineering and mapping, woodcraft signs, cooking, cycling.

Intelligence : Compass, Signally and Scouts/Guide knowledge.

Handicraft : Rope craft, Paper craft and nature craft.

Character prayer : Law, promise, flags , salute left shake hand, motto etc.

Service : social service, community service, First Aid, Pioneering, Prayer Meetings.

Health : Health Rules, outdoor living and yoga.

Rashtrapati Rover/Ranger Award :

Rashtrapti Rover/Ranger Award is the highest award for a Rover/Ranger. The Award is presented by Rashtrapati (The president of India) at a special investiture Ceremony. The Rastrapati Rover/Ranger Award was introduced in the year 1971.
