Finance Department letter No. Fin.F-(A)-(1 L)-4/2004, dated 6ft June, 20A7 and

Finance Department instructiorlleffer of even number dated 18.5.2007 vide

which all Head(s) of Department(s) and Officer(s) above the level of head(s) of

the Department(s) were allowe<! to be provided rvith a Computer & Printer or a

Laptop for their Official use. The admissibility of this facility was also decided

as per ANNEXURE (attached) with letter dated 6th June, 2007.

In partial modification of this letter the following

4dditional instructions are issued for Administrative Secretaries :-

,(i) It is clarified that Ldptop includes Mac Book 9r any all-in-one device or

tablet, but the maximum cost should not exceed Rs. 85,000/-. However,

(itr) Other Officers will continue to be provided a Computerllaptop by the

concerned Department.

(rD The Secretaries of the Govemment will hand over their \Computer/Laptop/ Mac Book or other Device in the event of their

transfer/posting out of Secretariat and in case of their retirement etc.
