Mission's Sankarachariyar Dental College.

VISION
To Prevent and Control Oral Diseases and Promote Oral Health Through Organized
Community Efforts.
MISSION
To prepare students to have a knowledge of the basics of Public Health, Dental Public
Health, Preventive Dentistry, Public Health Problems in India, Nutrition, Environment and
their Role in Health, Dental Statistics, Epidemiology and National Oral Health Policy.
UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMME:
The Department is conducting Undergraduate (BDS) Program with intake of 100 students
under the curriculum given by Dental Council of India and following Annual Examination
Pattern.
Teaching is imparted to undergraduates by;
