IISc & CAU Research Collaboration The M.Tech students got an opportunity to carry out advanced research through collaboration with IISc, Bangalore
and Image Processing & Intelligent System Laboratory (IPIS) Lab, Korea. This gave them insight in to some of the
state of the art research works being carried out by experts in the field of Image Processing and Photonics. Through
this collaboration the students were able to publish their work in peer reviewed journals and conferences. The
students are currently working on prototype development of their ideas, which could be patented and launched as
new product in the near future. Some of the internship work includes: Salinity measurement using photonic sensor,
super resolution of images, QCA based DSP processor and Cancer cell detection using SPR technology.
The ECE students visited Vietnam for Hands on Workshop Training for Code V Optical Imaging Platform as well
as participated in IEEE organized workshop.
