Slovenia has rich experience in collecting tolls (on Motorways):

Tolls on Motorways has been collected since 1973 (manual system for all vehicles);Introduction of Electronic Toll Collection wasIntroduction of Electronic Toll Collection was made in 1995 (ABC System, but only for passenger cars – Class R1);Introduction of the Vignette System in 2008 forIntroduction of the Vignette System in 2008 for light vehicles (max. permissible weight under 3.5t).

In July 2007 an Action Plan was accepted by Slovenian Government
