Is that number likely to grow, shrink, or remain the same?

4. MARKET CHARACTERISTICS Who are your competitors?

How concentrated is the market ? Are there one or two well established global players, or many newcomers?

Can your product feasibly be brought to market? Would you sell direct to consumers, or through an existing company?

5. COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGEWhat makes your product better than existing competitors? List your advantages.

Provide evidence of the unmet need your product is filling. Are people currently unhappy with what’s available to them? If not, it can be challenging to get your product out into the market.

Please provide information regarding any prototypes or ‘proof of concept’ works produced.

7. STATUS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTYWho are the originators of the technology, product or service? Provide details.

Has the work been sponsored or funded by any groups who may claim ownership of any intellectual property related to the technology, product or service?

Have any patents or other intellectual property protection been filed in respect of the technology, product or service? Provide details.
