DESCRIPTION: ProTek-PLUS™ is an inhibited propylene glycol based industrial heat transfer fluid and anti-freeze that contains food grade corrosion inhibitors. It is suitable for use in potable water systems. ProTek-PLUS™ is designed to provide freeze and burst protection, excellent thermal conductance, protection against corrosion and fouling and long term stability in closed recirculating water loops. ProTek-PLUS™ must be mixed with water to provide freeze and burst protection. Freeze points and burst points are controlled by the propylene glycol to water ratio. See the chart below for information on mixing rates. DIRECTIONS: Clean and passivate new or fouled systems with Triple Treat™ before adding ProTek-PLUS™ to the system. After the system is clean, add ProTek-PLUS™ in the ratio that will give the desired freeze or burst protection. Circulate the solution through the system to ensure thorough mixing. Test the solution after mixing to ensure that the system has the desired freeze or burst protection. For best results, mix only with good quality water, with a hardness level of less than 100ppm, a chloride content less than 20ppm, and a sulfate content less than 10ppm. FIRST AID: IF SWALLOWED: Immediately drink 3 or 4 glasses of water followed by a large glass of citrus juice. Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. IF ON SKIN: Flush affected area with water for 15 minutes or until skin no longer feels slick. If irritation persists, consult a physician. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air. If unconscious or if breathing does not return to normal within a few minutes, contact a physician immediately. IF IN EYES: Flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes while lifting lids periodically. Call a physician without delay. IN CASE OF FIRE: Use carbon dioxide, dry chemical, alcohol type foam, water, spray, water fog to extinguish surrounding fires involving this product.
