From free software to criticism on the authorship notion in artistic practices in Argentina.
What responses are evoked by the free software model when it enters the scene of contemporary art in Argentina and some other countries of Latin America?
Two main approaches:
- the “instrumental” way- the “political” way
the “instrumental” way
At first, they use free software as a tool, without concern about ways of creation or circulation (at first)
After, they choose just free software for educational purposes, and inspire on the model when opening the “code” of a work of art.
