Registration Process

1. Orientation2. Attend Open House Monday, January 30, 2017, with your

parents.3. Turn in completed packet to a DV counselor at your middle

school. Even if you think you may attend a different school, please turn in a packet.

Only COMPLETE packets will be accepted.

Having completed, on-time packets is the first step to a successful high school experience!

Valid Arizona driver’s license can be used for proof of residency if the address matches the address listed on the attached yellow data sheet.

Gifted Services ~ beyond honors

1. Scoring in the top 3% in any one of the three areas on the TUHSD honors placement test.

2. Qualification in a gifted program prior to high school (Documentation must be included with registration paperwork unless identification was through Akimel or Altadena and student currently attends one of those schools).

per Tri-district Articulation, receive credit, but are posted as P/F, so do NOT earn rank points or impact GPA.

∗ Out-of-District students can take a Spanish placement test to determine placement and may testout to receive credit.

a) Pay at the DV Bookstoreb) Attach receipt to and write in the extra course on the

scheduling worksheet

c) Turn in to DV counselor at your middle school on your registration day.

Dual Enrollment
