• Eliminate waste within the hospital system • Develop Standardized Work for the Hospital systems

• Understand why we focus on the principle of Waste
• Identify Waste as a non-value added activity
• Identify the categories of Waste
• Identify the types of Waste found in the hospital system
• Reflect on how other organizations have removed waste and improved production
• Define Standardized Work

• Determine the best way of distributing SW to people on the clinic or floor
