QUOTES & OBSERVATIONS

• Masters Programme:

“Perfect balance and what I really wanted. Not too techie or not too design”

“Helped to develop a basic skill set for the industry and future”

• Curriculum:

Work load of the semesters gave a feel of how it is when you get a job.

“I survived through the first semester. How worse can it get?”

‘Some courses were not useful, but others ones were very relevant from the industry point”

• Placements: One of the only two guys who didn’t get placed. Didn’t sit for the placements at all.

• Why?:

“Needed to get into a field which I want, not something which I just get”

“Will try luck outside, now preparing portfolio”

• Type of company aiming for: Automotive design – specific: Digital Sculpting

• Portfolio:

Under construction, will take another three weeks to complete.

Has started internet research for suitable companies, but not applied yet.

• Preparations:

Sharpening up skill set. “It can never be more. Keep on polishing until you are the best!!!”

Sure of a job with the current skillset

• Pressure: Parents, Society. “I’m taking it cool. I will get there… eventually”. Financially okay.

NEEDS A WAY TO

BECAUSE

A degree-holding product designer, well versed with enough skills and awareness of the industry, confident about the career path he has chosen,

put the skill set he has obtained and honed, in a scenario where he is able to enjoy what he does and to have a means of supporting himself and family.

THANK YOU !!!
