DAY oNE SATurDAY, AprIL 30, 2016➻ Arrival at Venice Airport and trans-port to JW Marriott Venice located on the private island of Isola delle Rose. In the exclusive setting of a private island with an area of 40 acres, the five accommodation facilities, the Spa, the fine Romanesque Revival church and the Dopolavoro restaurant infuse new energy into a collection of buildings from the 1920s and 1930s, renovated in a contemporary and envi-ronmentally sustainable manner.

➻ Welcome Cocktails and Light Dinner in the 16th century (1) palazzo rocca, a typical Venetian Gothic fortress palace where Prince Charles and Princess Di-ana stayed in 1985. A unique and magi-cal place – a landmark on the Grand Canal – our kick-off event invites you into the experience of Wine & Design and La Dolce Vita in Venice!

DAY TWo SuNDAY, MAY 1, 2016➻ Tour of (2) Asolo palladian Villas. 16th-century Venetian architect An-drea Palladio forever changed notions of classical beautiful and design when he began drawing up plans for the scores of villas that still dot the Ve-netian mainland today. His interest in Roman architecture combined with his Renaissance spirit made him one of the greatest artists of all time. There is no greater concentration of his work than in the hilltop village of Asolo, the “jewel” of the historic Venetian republic.

➻ Bele Casel Winery: Organic grape grower and Prosecco producer Luca Ferraro is one Italy’s hottest young winemakers and a champion of sus-tainable farming. His wines are poured by-the-glass in some of Italy’s most chic dining destinations, like Massimo Bottura’s Osteria Francescana. Luca will be hosting the group for a tasting of his wines at one of his favorite restaurants, Locanda Baggio in Asolo.

DAY THrEE MoNDAY, MAY 2, 2016➻ Visit Venetian Textile Weaver Luigi Bevilacqua who produces top quality luxury Venetian handmade fabrics for furnishing, interiors and upholstery using the same techniques – and looms – from the 12th century. Used by the Pope, Dolce & Gabbana and numerous international brands, this company’s famous historical archive holds more than 3,500 pattern de-signs – all Bevilacqua’s originals that brought the Venice of Marco Polo’s world to the world.

➻ There are two cities of Venice- one tourists see and one locals know. Rarely do the two interact. Antiqu-ing with a local Venetian is an entirely different experience as you gain ac-cess into a world only Venetians are allowed to enter. We’ll pass alleyways lined with top antique dealers and into private homes and palazzos for private appointments, antiquing in the center of the city of water. In Venice it’s all about the introduction – be introduced to dealers as their friends instead of as tourists. Join our Antiques Guides as they take you on the hunt for antiques – from museum-quality pieces to Venetian painted furniture, statues, jewelry, paintings and textiles.

➻ Lunch at Osteria All’orso

➻ With our private water taxis we’ll whisk you away to the island of Murano to a small family-owned glass factory where we’ll gain appreciation for the art of glass blowing.

➻ (3) Bisol Winery: With a history that stretches back to the time of the Ve-netian Renaissance, the Bisol family is one of Prosecco’s oldest winemaking clans. Their award-winning wines are sold all over the world but the family and the wines have never lost touch with the traditional style of Prosecco production. “Patriarch Gianluca Bisol will be hosting the group at his island estate on Mazzorbo and restaurant in the Venetian lagoon, Venissa, for a magical evening of tasting and conver-sation.”

The vineyards, all organic certified, deliver the raw material for the production of genuine Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto based on the indigenous Corvina grape variety. The most important asset of the Valentina Cubi estate are its hillside vineyards located in several important Valpoli-cella crus. Cooling breezes from Lake Garda create ongoing ventilation in the vineyards, keeping fungal pres-sure low, while differences between day and night temperatures allow the grapes to retain their freshness while achieving full ripeness. The soils on these terraces contain a high rock con-tent dispersed with clay, which has a water retaining capacity. Because of this an irrigation system is completely absent.
