Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs

Some colleges have 1 year certificate programs to give students a set of skills in a trade. This is good for student who cannot find a training work site. May be transferable towards the hours for Full Apprenticeship.

Some colleges offer in-school portions for full apprenticeships in 8 week blocks.

Students will earn as they learn in their trade then schedule time to attend the college for each block of in- school training.(collect UI)

Workplace courses may be acceptable for some of the programs. Check with each college in the apprenticeship section.
