Every year this legendary cinema on the lake by the Zürichhorn shows 30 spectacular and fascinating films on a 300m 2 screen. 1 AUG. SWISS NATIONAL DAY. The celebrations surrounding Swiss National Day will kick off at 10:30 a.m. with a procession from Werdmühleplatz via Bahnhofstrasse to Bürkliplatz. Swiss customs will be presented in a colourful, cheerful manner. The ceremony will be followed by a public festival with folklore. 9-11 AUG. SEENACHTSFEST RAPPERSWIL-JONA. The absolute highlight of the Seenachtsfest is the fantastic fireworks display accompanied by music, which can be enjoyed from a terrific vantage point and with the unique backdrop of the mediaeval city and castle. 10 AUG. STREET PARADE. The colourful house and techno party attracts hundreds of thousands of dance enthusiasts to the Zürich lake basin every year.
