Activity Refund PolicyA full refund will be given for any Resort activity (unless otherwise noted) if cancelled prior to an hour before the activity begins. A 50% refund will be given if cancelled within an hour of an activity. No refund will be given after the activ-ity has begun.

Smoke DetectorsIf your smoke detector goes off due to cooking, steamy showers or burned toast, etc., please… DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE DETECTOR. Call Maintenance at extension 1158 and a technician will be dispatched immediately to repair your detector. These detectors are wired directly into the Fire Department and tampering with them causes a safety problem for the guests in the rest of your building.

In Case of FireMost buildings are equipped with interior fire alarm pull stations. When pulled, they will automatically notify the Fire Department. Also, each home is equipped with local smoke detectors for your added protection. Should the fire alarm in your building go off, please evacuate at once and remain outside until the alarm has been silenced. Please do not tamper with the fire alarms or extinguishers.

Medical EmergenciesIn the event of a medical emergency, pick up a condominium or “house” phone and DIAL 911. Relay all available information including location and patient’s current condition. The following phone numbers assume you are calling from a condominium or “house” phone. If you are dialing from a cell phone, there is no need to dial 9 before the numbers listed below. All 911 calls can be dialed directly from any phone.

Severe Weather PolicyWeather can be unpredictable in the mountains. We strive to keep our guests safe at all times. When we have notice of inclement weather such as lightning we sound our severe weather siren and clear all outdoor public areas including waterparks, tents, ball courts, and green spaces for 30 minutes after the last observed thunder or lightning. For the safety of you and your family, please be respectful if a Smugglers’ employee asks you to vacate an outdoor space during these times.

Laser Tag u Fri. - Sun. 11:00 am - 7:00 pmIce Warriors, Defenders of the Notch — our 3,500 square foot, multi-level, custom themed laser tag arena. $10 per game or $16 for 2 games. Games will be held every 30 minutes. Indoor closed-toe shoes are required to participate in Laser Tag.

You must call Ext. 1271 to reserve your time slot. Laser Tag games can only be played with your family/group. We will not

be mixing groups together. Games are 10 minutes long and the entire process takes roughly 20 minutes. Each vest will be sanitized after use.

Bike Foliage Tours & Guide Service by appointmentAges 16 & older. Hire a guide to explore what Northern Vermont mountain biking has to offer. Explore our expanding trail network, or make a plan to travel to nearby destinations. We are happy to suggest some of the most popular and enjoyable spots to ride in the area including some of the best singletrack in Vermont. Your guide will lead the way through the lush green forests and beautiful open fields of our stunning Vermont landscape offering tips along the way. Pick a destination that suits your ability level and interest! Tours available upon request and guide availability. $20 per person, per hour, 2 person minimum. 50% off equipment rentals with tour.

MTB Private Lessons by appointmentAges 3 & older. The quickest way to improve your skill set is to hire a coach for one-on-one instruction. Whether you need to master the basics or are looking for a pro to ride with you and offer tips, our mountain bike professionals can tailor the experience to you and help you progress to the next level with your riding. $50 per person, per hour. Includes equipment. $25 per hour for each additional person.

Mountain Bike Trail Network u Self GuidedStarting from The Bike Shop, our mountain bike trail network features over 10 miles of single track and 8 miles of double track mountain biking! Just like our ski trails, you can ride green, blue, or black trails to access easy, intermediate, or advanced terrain. Our trails have something for everyone! Stop in The Bike Shop to grab a trail map!

Lamoille Valley Rail Trail u Self Guided All ages. The newly built Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is a perfect recreation opportunity for families. A nearby 17-mile section starts in the town of Jeffersonville and runs through Johnson all the way to Morrisville. Running along an old rail bed, the LVRT never exceeds a 3% grade, making it accessible for all abilities. A great option for bikers looking for a relaxing bike experience. Covered Bridge Tours v Daily 9:00 am - 2:30 pmVermont boasts the largest number of covered bridges per square mile in the US. And there’s no better time to see them than during the green of summer and the fall foliage mosaic of colors. We take you to picturesque bridges, all with their own unique stories and designs. We travel to the towns of Waterville, Belvidere, Johnson, and Jeffersonville in our spacious Ford Transit Van. The Van will be disinfected and sanitized after every trip, all tours will be run privately, if you book a tour, it will be your group only. Specific trip stops and destinations may vary seasonally. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the Fly Rod Shop at 802-253-7346 for availability and booking. Meeting Location: Guests can be picked up at Smugglers’ Notch Clock Tower if prior arrangements are made. $240 for up to 4 people, $59 for each additional person.

Taste of Vermont v Daily 9:00 am - 2:30 pmJoin us on a journey to some of Vermont’s outstanding producers. Tours will start at the Clocktower at Smugglers’ Notch Resort before heading over the winding, foliage filled Smugglers’ Notch pass with the Cold Hollow Cider Mill as our first destination. Here we will receive a private overview of the operations, we will also have a private room reserved in case anyone wants to have one of their awesome breakfasts**. After we leave Cold Hollow expect to head to Lake Champlain Chocolates, Danforth Pewter and Smugglers’ Notch Distillery. Afterwards we’ll then head into the hills to visit Nebraska Knoll Sugar House. This is a one of a kind, rustic Sugarhouse full of stories and the sweet nectar of the sugar maple. From here we will proceed to the infamous Emily’s Bridge located in the Stowe Hollow where we’ll talk about the love story gone tragically wrong resulting in one of Vermont’s most famous haunted landmarks. We’ll then continue to the quaint lower village of Stowe where we’ll swing by Laughing Moon Chocolate so everyone can get their chocolate fix. After departing from Laughing Moon we will head over to the Green Mountain Inn at which point guests are given approximately 45 minutes to explore the lower village of Stowe. From there we’ll drive over to the Trapp Family Lodge for a few spectacular views before heading over to the Alchemist Brewery for a curbside pickup order if requested which will finish off the trip before we travel back to Smugglers’ Notch Resort. $240.00 for up to 4 people and $59.00 for each additional person. Tours meet at the clock tower. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration required, minimum 4 passengers. **Breakfast is not included in the trip price. All ages. If you are looking for a fun SPIN fishing excursion for the whole family then you will love our Family Gone Fishing Program. On this 3 hour fishing adventure our experienced guides will take you to our “Secret Fishin’ Hole.” Once we are at the secret spot it is a small walk along the river to get to our fishing location. On the walk out there is a good chance of seeing White-tailed Deer, Moose, and even the local Bald Eagle! All ages. If you’re looking for a unique fall foliage experience, this is the trip for you. One of our guides will motor you along the beautiful, serene Waterbury Reservoir. The Fall Foliage Scenic Boat charters have a lot to offer. The Waterbury Reservoir is settled between two mountain ranges offering extraordinary fall foliage views. The Waterbury Reservoir is 860 acres. It is approximately 5 miles long, providing plenty of beautiful shoreline. Along one shoreline is part of the Mount Mansfield State Forest that covers 12,912 acres of forest. The Waterbury Reservoir was one of four dams that were created in the 1930’s for flood control following the flood of 1928. Construction began in April of 1935 and the dam was complete in October 1938. The dam is an earth fill dam, meaning it is made of stone. Before any additions were made to the dam, it was the largest dam in the country in which all of the stones were placed by a human instead of excavators. This program will start off here at the shop where you will be fitted for boots and waders if you don’t already have them, and beginners will have a short casting lesson on our trout pond to learn both the roll cast and false cast. One of our experienced guides will then take you to one of our many fishing spots where you will learn the techniques as you fish!
