TO SET THE DATE AND TIME:1. Pul l the crown out to the f i rs t c l ick posit ion.

2. Turn the crown so the date advances, andset it to yesterdays date.

3. When the hand in the small dial face at the leftreaches the zero position (points straight up),pull the crown out to the second click position.

4. Turn the crown so the minute and hour handsmove forward. Continue turning until the datedisplay changes to todays date, then continueuntil the current time is reached. (If the currenttime is PM, advance the hour hand past thenoon position before stopping on the current

time.) When sett ing the minute hand, advancethe hand to 5 minut es or more past the desiredtime, then turn it back to the desired time.

5. Press button (b) repeatedly to advance the alarmhands to the current time. Press and hold button(b) to advance the alarm hands rapidly.

6. Push the crown back in to the normal position.

The crown can be pulled out to two click positions. The first position is for setting the currentdate and the alarm time. The second position is for setting the current time. When pulling thecrown out to the first or second click positions, pull it gently and slowly.

It is necessary to reset the date at the eFebruary and all months that have than 31 days.

TO RESET THE WATCH TIME AN D

SYNCHRONIZE THE ALARM :1. When the hand in the small dial face at the left

reaches the zero position (points straight up),pull the crown out to the second click position.

SYNCHRONIZING THE ALARM

The small lower dial face shows the alarm time setting. Before the alarm is used for the firsttime, it must be synchronized w ith t he current time. The instructions under SETTING THEDATE AND TIME will achieve this. If the main hands of the watch are reset to adjust for thecurrent time, the alarm hands must be synchronized again by doing the follow ing:

SETTING THE ALARM

When t he alarm is not set, the alarm hands show the current t im e to indicate the alarm is notactive. Sett ing the alarm hands to a specif ic t ime wi l l automatical ly activate the alarmfunction, and the alarm wil l sound at the set t ime. The alarm can be set to sound at only onedesignated t ime, w hich must be wit hin the fol low ing 12 hours.

WHEN USING THE ALARM, NOTETHE FOLLOW ING: The alarm can be set in one-minute increments. While the chronograph is active, the alarm has

a different sound. This is not a malfunction. When the three-year battery is running low,

the alarm will not sound, even if it isengaged. This is necessary to extend theremaining battery life. It is not a m alfunction.

USING THE CHRONOGRAPH

The long narrow hand on the main dial f ace is part of the chronograph. It advances at intervalsof 1/5 second. The small upper dial face is also part of the chronograph. It measures elapsedtime in minutes for up to one full hour. After one hour, it starts counting again from zero.

WHEN USING THE CHRONOGRAPH,NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

AADJUSTING THE CHRONOGRAPH HANDS

Under normal conditions, the chronograph minute hand and 1/5-second hand are reset to zero(the 12-oclock position) by using the watch buttons. In some instances, such as during the initialsetup of the w atch, it may be necessary to manually adjust t hese hands to the zero position.

chronograph hands do not reset to when the watch buttons are used.

Low battery indicator: When the battery is running low, the small second hand will move in tw o-second intervals. If this occurs, the watch w ill continue to display time accurately but the batteryshould be replaced as soon as possible. Note that the alarm will not sound if the battery isrunning low. This is necessary to extend t he remaining battery lif e.

AL AJ USTAR LA FECHA Y LA HORATENGA EN CUENTA QUE: El reloj recuperar la medida del t iempo en

DETENER UNA ALARMA

Para detener el sonido de la alarma presione el botn (a) o el botn (b). Si no pulsa ningnbotn, la alarma se detendr automticamente al cabo de 20 segundos. Cuando termina desonar la alarma, las manecil las de la alarma vuelven a most rar la hora actual para sealar queest desactivada. Para evitar que suene una alarma programada:

CONSERVACIN

EXPOSICIN AL AGUAAl estar regulado para ser hidrfobo hasta 10 bares (100 metros), el reloj puede llevarse duranteel bao, as como para nadar o practicar el buceo a pulmn en poca profundidad. No estdiseado para buceo con escafandra o a gran profundidad. Antes de poner el reloj en contactocon el agua debe asegurarse de que la corona est firmemente ajustada con la carcasa. SYNCHRONISATION DE LALARME

Le petit cadran infrieur indique le rglage de lheure dalarme. Avant dutiliser lalarme pourla premire fois, celle-ci doit tre synchronise avec lheure en cours. Pour ce faire, suivez lesinstructions figurant sous REGLAGE DE LA DATE ET DE LHEURE. Si les aiguilles principalesde la montre sont dplaces pour tre rgles sur lheure courante, les aiguilles de lalarmedoivent tre nouveau synchronises en procdant comme suit :

REGLAGE DE LALARME

Lorsque lalarme nest pas rgle, les aiguilles de lalarme affichent lheure en cours pour indiquer quelalarme nest pas acti ve. Rgler les aiguilles de l alarme sur une heure spcifique activera automati quementla fonction dalarme et lalarme retent ira lheure choisie. Lalarme ne peut tre programme que pourune seule heure dfinie, cette dernire devant tre situe dans les 12 heures suivantes.

Per interrompere la suoneria dellallarme, premete il pulsante (a) o il pulsante (b). Se non premetenessun pulsante, lallarme smetter automat icamente di suonare dopo 20 secondi. Dopo lint erruzionedella suoneria, le lancette continuano a indicare lora esatta per segnalare che lallarme statodisattivato. Per non far suonare un allarme impostato, eseguite le seguenti operazioni.

PER CANCELLARE UN ALLARME IMPOSTATO:1. Estratete la corona fino a farla scattare la prima volta.

2. Premete e mantenete premuto il pulsante (b)f ino al l ar resto del le lancet te del l a l larmesullora esatta (se le lancette dellallarme non siar restano sul l ora indicata dal l orologioprincipale, seguire le procedure illustrate allasezione SINCRONIZZAZIONE DELLALLARME).
