DETOX PLAN

DETOXThe goal of detox is to remove toxins from the
body and in the process introducing fibre, vitamins and antioxidants to the body
Some pointers:• Drink plenty of water• Don’t eat after 7 P.M• Have a cup of herbal tea to help with your
system
Detox Menu Plan - Morning
Breakfast• Quinoa with Prunes (Quinoa contains all nine
essential amino acids, fibre and phosphorus. The prunes deliver even more fiber, plus sorbitol, a sugar alcohol with a laxative effect)
Early morning• Start the day with a cup of hot water, it would be
better if you squeeze some fresh lemon juice in it
Snack• Vegetable shake containing: Apples, spinach,
ginger, beetroot, celeries , carrots, parsley, and radish
Detox Menu Plan – Snack, Lunch
Lunch• Fruit smoothie, with blueberries, banana,
strawberry, goji berries and yoghurt
Snack• Pineapple juice and a hand full of blueberries
Detox Menu Plan – Snack, Supper
Supper• Chickpeas salad include vegetables like
tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, spinach, mushrooms, cabbage etc. You can lightly grill/steam/boil the vegetables, but only slightly so as not to lose all the vitamins the vegetables bring to your body
And…
To end off on the perfect day and before you go to bed have some herbal or floral tea like
dandelion tea (been shown to have diuretic properties, which will help flush away toxins in
your urine before you sleep)
