Listening Task: Imagine you are listening to a talk. You are going to listen to a tour guide talking about the Jelly Belly Candy Company.

First, you will hear about the history of the jelly bean.

Next, you will hear about the history of the Jelly Belly Candy Company.

Then, you will hear about how jelly beans are made.

Finally, you will hear about other things to do after the tour. You will hear the talk in several parts. After each part, you will hear several questions. You are to choose the most appropriate answer from the choices 3 given. If you wish, you may take brief notes as you listen. Now you will hear the opening of the talk. For this part, there will not be any actual test questions. The two questions that follow are examples only. Listen carefully. Example 1: a. Illinois b. Germany c. California The correct answer is b; Germany.
