Prior to developing your project proposal
Identify geographical areas of interest: Try to focus on projects forwhich you have both the necessary technical skills and soundknowledge/understanding of the context/region
(including a good network of local partners).Prepare in advance! Analyze EU/WB assistance/loans trends so to betterunderstand what type of contracts have been awarded in the past (countrypriorities; strategic plans; ets.) Analyze background documents (policy papers; strategic countrydocuments, etc. )
Contact key stakeholders ( DG DEVCO EU) and the TTL (BM) to knowwhen and how future procurement notices will be published. Field mission : To improve the knowledge of the country + networking withlocal companies and organizations (potential partners!)
