Vision PWG vision is to be the premier Petroleum expertise repository for
UNFC with the primary goal of achieving Sustainable Development Goals through implementation of UNFC globally as a total resourceclassification and management system which can be used by a variety of interested entities to make policy and business decisions on energy.
Mission PWG mission is to proactively work with country stake holders,
develop UNFC petroleum specifications and guidelines, conduct pilot studies, hold workshops, promote uptake of UNFC in interested countries, provide advice on the realization of Sustainable Development Goals by using UNFC.

Petroleum Classification and Applications Drafts on UNFC specifications and guidelines will be prepared based
on current knowledge and inputs from planned workshops
These drafts can be updated if changes are made to UNFC later this year
A team will be formed from the PWG to prepare the draft

Very busy 6 months for PWG PWG went live in October 2017 (although started in August but it took
several weeks to form the final group)

Strong Forward Plan for next 12 months Expect some projects may slip into the second year
Need more volunteers for Petroleum as associates in PWG Will assist with project as required
