NANOMAGDYE: The probe• Magnetic and optical sensor built together• Fluxset sensor: soft magnetic core, two coils: driving and pickup coil

• No intrinsic magnetic field: excited with a third coil: excitation coil• Nanoparticles need very strong excitation: differential excitation

Conclusion• At low velocities there are no significant distorting effects• At higher velocities the distorting effects are at most 10-15% of the maximum

amplitude

• The probe is completely capable of the measurements it was designed to do

• Simulation of the measurements• Algorithm for signal source localization
