1. Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and MadhyaPradesh rich inminerals
coal deposits
2. Arunachal Pradesh has abundantWater resources but lacks
infrastructural development.
3. Rajasthan hassolar and wind energy
but lacks
water resources.
4. The cold desert of Ladakh has very richcultural heritage but lacks
water & minerals
Rich diversity in the
availability of resources.
There are regions which arerich in certain types ofresources but are deficient in
some other resources.
There are some regions whichcan be considered selfsufficient in terms of theavailability of resources and
there are some regions whichhave acute shortage of somevital resources.
