Using Adobe Fireworks as my editing software I set about creating the Front of my digipak.
I chose this image of the bridge as my Digipak front cover because I felt that aside from being very picturesque, it was only natural since the bridge itself was featured in my video.
I decided to convert the colour of my photograph to greyscale because I am trying to emulate the techniques used on other Digipaks and CD covers of the same genre.
I then adjusted the saturation and lightness hues of the photo to make it darker, since I felt the image was too light in tone.
I did the same procedure to this picture of a solitary tree, however I saw that this image was much to dark when i was simply grey scaled.
I decided to use an after affect called “heat” to brighten the image up. As can be seen, the effect brightens up darkened areas and makes the picture more attractive.
