Circle of Friends resumes its meetings on Tuesday, September 19. We welcome new members, but please call Sr. Lucille at 347-603-3738 in advance if you plan on

attending. Meetings are held in Notre Dame Hall.

The Diocese of Brooklyn is hosting a Catholic Day on Saturday, September 9th at Citifield. The day includes a mass in the morning with Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, followed by fun, games and food, and a Mets Game. We have a

block of tickets as a parish and the price is $15. Please contact the rectory by August 28th to reserve your ticket. Healing and Pro-Life Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 1, at 7:30 PM. All are invited. Confirmation and Communion videos are now ready to be picked up in the Religious Ed office, during regular office hours. Registration for Religious Education: The Religious Education Office will be open from Monday to Thursday, from 1:00 PM till 4:30 PM, and on Saturday, September 2, from 10 AM till 2 PM The classes will begin on Sunday, September 17. On Sunday, September 24, 2017, OLPH begins the Jubilee

Year celebrating 125 years as a parish. Bishop James

Massa, Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn, will celebrate the

12:15 PM multicultural Mass in the Upper Church. The

11:45 AM Chinese Mass, the 1:30 PM Spanish Mass, and

the 3 PM Vietnamese Mass are canceled in order to

include everyone in the 12:15 PM Mass. Following the

Mass there will be a multicultural celebration in Notre

Dame Hall, with foods and entertainment from the many

countries and cultures of OLPH. All are invited to

celebrate joyfully our wonderfully diverse parish

community. Save the date! Spread the word!

On Saturday, October 28, 2017, OLPH will celebrate

“Homecoming Day” as part of our 125th Jubilee,

welcoming home those who grew up in OLPH and have

moved to other places. Beginning at 3 PM there will be an

Open House in OLPH School and the Upper Church.

Mass at 5 PM in the Lower Church will remember those

who have gone before us – the “communion of saints” of

OLPH. Following the Mass there will be a sit-down

dinner/dance for $50.00 in Notre Dame Hall. Tickets for

the dinner are available in the rectory office and online at

Last weekend there were 2,622 people who came to

OLPH for the celebration of the Eucharist. The total

collection was $9,922.37. Thank you for your

generosity in supporting our parish community. In the name

Registration for the 29th Annual PO Christopher Hoban Run, a

5 mile run which is now a September tradition in Bay Ridge, will

take place on Sunday, September 17, at 10 AM. Supported by the

Xaverian Police Alumni, the NYPD, and the entire community, the

Hoban Run supports a memorial scholarship fund to honor

Christopher Hoban ‘80, an NYPD officer who lost his life in the line

of duty in 1988 at the age of 26. If you have any questions, please

3 PM la Escuela de N.S. del Perpetuo Socorro y la Iglesia de

nes pasadas que son la “comunión de los santos” de N.S.P.S.
