1 DewLog V1 for Windows

DewLog is designed to evaluate and analyze the data collected by your data logger. After importing the data the interval measurements can be analyzed in several graphs, the manual measurements are displayed as information in columns. DewLog is easy to use because its graphical user interface is based on standard Windows terminology and standard Microsoft terms. As a result, features such as printing and print previews are the same as in other standard Windows products (such as Microsoft Word). Please note that some of the dialog boxes will appear in the language of the version of Windows that is currently installed. Screen 1

6 Setting up the DC7000 in DewLog

To make full use of the analysis software, follow all the steps in this chapter: • Specify the temperature scale and time • Specify the interval time • Set up the batch names • Set up the alarm limits Refer to Screen 8 for the main control areas. Screen 8

Note: The system uses the data logger’s ID and batch number to generate a unique profile name. If a profile with that name already exists on disk, it is assumed that the user does NOT want to download (and overwrite) this profile. In addition, the system adds the recently downloaded files to its downloaded file list in the File Explorer.

8 Probe Layout

The Probe Layout option enables you to define default probe positions on the object. This is very useful when focusing on the probe settings for an individual object. Screen 17

Once a probe layout has been created and / or selected, the following properties can be defined.

General The number of probes when measuring with the DC7000 is always 3.

Image Use the product image to get a good impression of the probe positions. The image size and orientation are defined to reflect reality as much as possible.

Details In this section, you can define extra details (probe properties for each individual probe). The probe position is easy to move with a mouse; just click the probe in the image area and drag it into position.
