The company purchased the hydraulic dredge to reach sand deposits below the ground water level. Dexter Sand & Gravel, a subsidiary of Delta Companies, Inc., purchased the dredge for use at a new 100-acre sand and gravel mine. The dredge will supply a slurry feed to the sand plant for production of concrete and mortar sand, as well as gravel products. Eventually, the mining area is expected to grow to a size of approximately 85-acres and the dredge will operate for about 6-8 months out of the year. “We have been very pleased with the features and performance of the Wolverine dredge. DSC and W&S knowledge and expertise has been very helpful to the successful start-up of our new dredging operation”, stated Mike Martin, Delta Companies’ Aggregates Area Manager. DSC’s Wolverine class dredge is manufactured in its entirety at the company’s W&S division located in Greenbush, Michigan. For Immediate Release RESERVE, LA – June 28, 2012: Last month, Dexter Sand & Gravel

of Missouri took delivery of their new 10-inch Wolverine dredge; pictured below. The company
