DFW Paper 11/3/14 All 3 of them live in Dallas,

Texas. They flew the American Airlines/ British Airways Flight 6153 at 6:35 P.M. On the way back, they went aboard the AA/ British Airways Flight 6154 at 11:55 A.M.

3 Infected 3 citizens report that they may have the CROW FLU. One of them is Susan Smith, at 40 years old, she has brown hair and hazel eyes. She weighs 500 pounds. Jessica Frappachino is 12 years old. She has green eyes and light brown hair. She looks young for her age. Nick Fredrickson is 14 years old. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The 3 citizens have been conferring with officials and scientists about which city they came from, and where they live now. Jessica said, “I went to London, England for a gymnastics competition. It was so fun!” “While I was in London, I went to a amazing bird show! It has 1000’s of birds!” Nick announces. Susan answers, “I went to almost every restaurant!” I wish I hadn’t eaten so much, I gained 5 pounds

All 3 of these citizens have officially been diagnosed with the CROW FLU. The flu is now spreading fast with no hint of stopping.

Reported and journalized by: A. Student

Part One/3 Jessica Frapachino is 12 years old, traveling with her

coach and team to a gymnastics competition in London, England. She has green eyes, light hair, and smooth skin. Jessica is from Dallas, Texas, and is traveling without her family. Jessica is quite small for her age. She also enjoys

drawing. Nick Fredrickson is 14 years old. He is traveling with his

family, but once he gets to London, he will be sight-seeing alone. He has pale skin, and brown hair and

brown eyes. He enjoys sports and he likes to talk a lot. (This might annoy the other passengers on the plane)

Susan Smith is a very helpful and selfless woman. She is very fat. She might have to buy 2 or 3 plane seats. She is very stinky. Her eyes are hazel and her hair is brown. She

is traveling alone, considering that she is 40.

On the way home form the wonderful city of London, Susan Smith, Jessica Frapachino, and Nick Fredrickson are all sitting in the the same row of the air plane (row two). Susan is filling up two seats, with Jessica and Nick in one. Jessica got moved way up front in first class from the rest of her gymnastics team, because her rich parents insisted on it. Nick and Susan are up there too. Susan had to be in first class, because she wouldn’t be able to fit in the other seats. She needed the extra room. Nick wanted to get away from his nagging parents. All three passengers are very bored and it has only been ten minutes of an eight hour flight. Susan decides to be friendly and talk to them and start up a convo. A.K.A conversation… Susan starts to confer, “Isn’t it horrible that the deadly crow flu is killing many and spreading fast?” “Yes, how very sad,” announces Jessica. Nick is not even listening to anything they are saying. He is too into his new Peach Inc. iPod. Little did Nick know, he caught the crow flu while going to a bird show at the London Zoo. After a while, they all get a little hungry and order a snack. Susan insists that she pays with her shiny silver and gold credit card. All tthree of them nibble of one another’s food. (Not a very good idea with the flu spreading around) Nick finally says a word, “Where is the bathroom?” A wrinkled skinny lady replies, “Walk straight forward and then turn left.” Jessica doodles in her notebook, Nick listens to music on his Peach Inc iPod, and Susan orders more food. A banana split and macaroni and cheese platter with 6 different cheeses! Nick falls asleep, with him talking very LOUD. A few people complain, “Hey, young man, please stop talking so loud!”

Not trying to be rude, Susan answers, “He can’t help it, he’s sleeping. Maybe you could put on some head phones?” The people answer with snarky looks. Jessica asks Susan and Nick,” Do you want to play Tic Tac Toe?” With a cheerful voice (as always), Susan answers, “Of course honey, that sounds like a lot of fun!” Nick does not hear, since he is asleep WITH his headphones on. Jessica rips off his head phones and asks him if he wants to play. “Nick! Do you want to play Tic Tac Toe? Or nah?” “NAH!” Nick grouchily answers. “Stop bugging me!” Jessica looks surprised as if she has never seen anyone be so rude. She is very spoiled so her parents never discipline her. “Oh my gosh, did you hear what Nick just said to me? He is so rude! Tell him not to be mean!” Susan doesn’t say anything back. All she does is shake her head with disappointment. She thinks at how parents don’t discipline their kids these days, but her thoughts are interrupted. The same flight attendant that helped Nick blares through the speaker on the plane, “Passengers, we will be landing in Sunny Dallas in approximately 3 minutes.” All people who were sleeping soundly wake up annoyed at the fact that they were woken up by a loud speaker. Three minutes goes by, and the plane hits the ground with a big force. Shhhhrrroooom it goes as the surroundings go by in a blur. This is always Jessica’s favorite part! “Weeee!” she screams.

The plane rolls on to Gate 21d. A different flight attendant announces over the speaker, “Please wait until the seatbelt sign has been turned off. Please be careful for the luggage in the overhead bin, as they may have moved during the flight. Thank you for choosing South West Airlines, we hope to see you again soon.” Dingg! The sign has been turned off. Everyone rushes out of their seat, eager to get out of the claustaphobic plane. Susan cries a little, sad to see her flight friends leaving. “Bye, have a good day. Thanks for being awesome flight buddies!!” yells Susan. A week or two later… “Why are so many people getting sick ever since I came back?” Susan asks to her friend. “I dunno,” her friend replies. They switch on the T.V, and the news flashes on. “For tonight’s last news story, we will be chattering about the cases of the Crow Flu. In one week, there have been 12 flu cases all over the DFW metroplex. All of them have been deadly. We do not know why the Crow Flu is so deadly, but scientists are figuring it out. Well, that’s all for tonight folks. Thank you for watching the Chatter Box. See you tomorrow!” Susan turns off the T.V. “Why, that’s terrible. I didn’t know that it was in our city! I wonder who brought it here…”

CHARACTER 1SUSAN SMITH

Susan Smith is 40 years old. Her skin is itchy (mosquito bites) because she spends much of

her time outdoors helping at a soup kitchen. Susan’s hair is

brown and her eyes are hazel. Her weight… Let’s just be

honest and say Susan is 500 pounds. She is 5’5.

Susan is a very helpful and selfless woman. Some people who have

seen or read Divergent will refer to her as abnegation. She is at the soup kitchen all day! 5:30 A.M-

9:00 P.M. Susan is friendly to everyone! The only thing she ever does is help. Sometimes it can be bad though… Susan doesn’t clean herself or bathe. She states that

she doesn’t have time.

Susan lives in Dallas, Texas. She lives at the soup kitchen. There is a small closet at the kitchen where she has set up a little pallet where she sleeps, and a little night stand (where she keeps her recipes for soup)

Sometimes, if she ate a lot that day she cannot fit in the closet. She has been trying to lose weight so… Sometimes, if she has ANY time, she will lift weights. Basically she lifts heavy

pots of soups. She doesn’t have any pets, but she does have MANY friends. Like I said earlier, she is friendly to everyone! That’s why Susan

has a lot of friends. Susan’s family lives in Maine, so she doesn’t see them often. The part

of the soup kitchen, where they eat is outdoors. (This is bad when it is winter, good

thing Texas’s winters aren’t that cold!) The part where they make the soup and where Susan

sleeps is inside.

Character 2Jessica Frappachino

Jessica Frapppachino is 12 years old. She looks young for her age. She has green eyes and light brown almost blonde-ish hair! Jessica always has a braid in her hair. Sometimes it is a different type of braid, but she always has a braid. She has super smooth skin because she washes her face with a Clarisonic every night. Even though she looks young for her age, she is normal in height. 5’2 to be exact.

Jessica is a very outgoing girl. She loves to express her emotions by drawing. In school, she is in an advanced art class. Besides art, she loves to do gymnastics. After school, she can be found at the gym from 4:30 to 9:00. She competes every other weekend for the whole weekend. One flaw is that she thinks that gymnastics comes before school. (Sometimes she will sneak and spend the night in the gym so she can practice all through the night) She doesn’t want to go to college so; she can spend more time at the gym. She is very sweet, and a very loving person to animals. Jessica loves dogs, especially Great Danes. Most of the time she is quite helpful and nice, but sometimes she can be quite a storm.

Jessica’s family is very rich. They would have to be, with all of her gymnastic lessons! Jessica lives in Dallas, Texas. She lives in a 3 story house with a pond in the front. Once, she went fishing with her dad but didn’t want to go because it interfered with gymnastics practice. SO…. She hit him with the rod and used him as fish bait. That was the 1st and last time they went fishing. Jessica has no other siblings. She has a mom and a dad. She also has a loving and cute Great Dane. Because of her small size, she can ride him to and from gymnastics. Her best friend lives right next door. They have a lot of sleepovers (only when she is not in gymnastics, which is rarely)

Flight Info

Nick Fredrickson is 14. He is pale, has brown eyes and dark brown hair. He is a little short for his age (5’3), but that doesn’t hold him back from doing sports. Even though he is a little short, his shoe size is HUGE! Nick has a size 13.5 in men’s.

Nick is obnoxiously loud!!! In school, it is a negative when he talks loud, but when he is playing football, cross country, basket ball, track, and soccer it is a POSITIVE. He is a coach’s pet. He plays sports basically 24/7! (But not really) It is very hard to keep up with school for him, considering that Nick goes straight from school to his sport and goes until 10:30 P.M. He is a straight B+ student. His parents want Nick to get better grades and try harder, but he is too into his sports. He is a very positive and nice guy.

Nick Fredrickson lives in Dallas, Tx. He lives in an average looking house with 1 story. He lives in a normal neighborhood. His parents are both a little marshmallowy (that means they’re fat) Nick has NO pets unless you count his stuffed animal bunny! Nick doesn’t have a lot of time, obviously, so he doesn’t have many friends.
