About the Dunwoody Homeowners Association

The purpose of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association is to promote the recreation, health,

safety, welfare, benefit and enjoyment of the homeowners within the community. The

Association strives to ensure that Dunwoody is preserved principally for high quality residential

use.

We encourage and support the development and improvement of services and facilities required

and necessary for the support of Dunwoody; we oppose the intrusion of forces and elements that

are inimical to the perpetuation of the high standard and quality of life long associated with

Dunwoody.

We maintain liaison with local government bodies and agencies to be alert and assist in courses

of action that are beneficial to Dunwoody and its residents. Within the limits of our authority, we

exercise vigilance in planning and development, zoning, streets and drainage, water and sewer,

utility and other capital improvement matters so that the rights and interests of a majority of the

residents of Dunwoody are sustained and supported.

The Dunwoody Homeowners Association includes all homes and condominiums situated in those

parts of DeKalb and Fulton counties that are: North of I-285; East of Ga-400; South of the

Chattahoochee River and West of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

David Abroms, Republican Party

I’m 33 years old, and while I grew up just outside of

Birmingham, Alabama, I currently live in Sandy Springs with

my rescue dog, Sam. I consider myself a bit of a paradox; I am

a Jewish accountant, but I drive a truck, do my own oil

changes and listen to country music. I’m also a big car guy and

recently bought my childhood dream car, a 1993 40th

Anniversary Corvette.

I studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Miami, and I earned my Masters of

Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham while working full time and

studying for the CPA. While at Miami, I wrote for the campus newspaper as a conservative

columnist, was on the board of the College Republicans, and had a few incredible internships,

including internships with Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, AIPAC, and the Koch Foundation.

I have volunteered for Republican candidates in several local and national political races, I

was a Regional Field Coordinator for the McCain campaign, and I am a lifetime member of

the Atlanta Young Republicans.

I firmly believe that the power of the market is the greatest anti-poverty mechanism the

world has ever seen, lifting billions of people out of poverty and making America the greatest

superpower the world has ever known. That’s why I am committed to pursuing free market

policies in Washington.

In 2011, at the age of 27, I decided to start my own business converting vehicles to run on

clean, American natural gas and based it here in the Atlanta area. My company, Freedom

Fueling Solutions, sat at the crossroads of so many of my passions: transportation, energy

policy, buying American, promoting energy competition, protecting national security, and

taking care of the environment. So I started my business with just me and my pickup truck,

and after a couple years of blood, toil, tears and sweat, I had built one of the largest

conversion companies in the country. As an industry leader at 29, I spoke at the opening

session of the Government Fleet Expo in Denver.

I’ve been proud to contribute to my community whenever possible, including serving on the

Board of Directors of our local Jewish Federation and the NE Miles Jewish Day School. I also

served on the finance committee of the NE Miles Jewish Day School and was a financial

advisor to our local Chabad House, and I have been a member of Rotaract. I am also proud to

have played a large part in promoting free market principles by sponsoring the creation of an

online resource library at the American Enterprise Institute.

Dr. Mohammad Ali Bhuiyan, Republican Party

Dr. Mohammad Ali Bhuiyan moved to Georgia 30 years ago as a graduate

student. He and his wife Shamima have been married for 30 years. They

became US Citizens in 2000 and moved to Cobb County. They have one

grown son who graduated from one of the top law schools. Mohammad

Ali received a Ph.D. degree in economics/trade, two MBA degrees (one

from IIM-Bangalore), and leadership training at Harvard and MIT. He has

been very active with the communities locally, nationally, and

internationally. As recognitions for his outstanding services, he has been listed in the Marquis

Who’s Who in America & Who’s Who in the World. He is an alumnus of Leadership Georgia. He

was named as one of “The 100 Most Influential Atlantans of 2014” by the Atlanta Business

Chronicle and as one of the “Notable Georgians 2015” by Georgia Trend Magazine.

Mohammad Ali has over thirty years of professional experience including twenty years of

executive level experience. I have served in administrative leadership positions in academia,

business, and the non-profit world in roles including Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice

President, Vice President, Dean, Chair, Director, and Endowed Chair Professor. He was the

founding director of a nationally-renowned conference that involved university system heads,

chancellors, presidents, Fortune 500 CEOs, successful entrepreneurs, high ranking military

officers, and other national and international leaders for eight years. He has been seen on

CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and other cable outlets.

Mohammad Ali has been to over 50 countries and interacted with many heads of states and

global leaders, taught at many universities. He understands the complex economic, political,

cultural, religious issues around the world that are essential for sound foreign policy decisions

to secure our leadership around the world and protect our national security and defense.

Dr. Mohammad Ali Bhuiyan is a supporter of:

° Fiscal responsibility and strong ethics ° Cutting waste and reduce debt burden

° Strong National defense & National Security ° No to “special interest groups”

° Second Amendment and limited government ° High quality education

° Sound Social Security and Medicare ° Healthcare system that works for all

° No to all forms of extremism and violence ° Women’s and Youth Empowerment

° Comprehensive and fair immigration policy ° Pro-life with exceptions

° Term limits for elected officials

Keith J. Grawert, Republican Party

My family first moved to Dunwoody when I was 10 years old.

My parents and older brother still call the area home. I

graduated from Marist School in 1999 and then attended

Duke University on an Air Force ROTC scholarship. I graduated

in 2003 with a double major in Electrical Engineering and

Economics. I also have a MS in Industrial Engineering from

Georgia Tech.

I was commissioned an officer in the US Air Force in 2003 and reported to Moody AFB in

Valdosta, GA for initial pilot training. After completing flight school, I was selected to fly the

C-17A Globemaster III at Charleston AFB, SC. While at Charleston, I deployed to the Middle

East 4 times, flew nearly 500 combat sorties in Iraq and Afghanistan, and served in a variety

of operational leadership positions. I also completed two assignments overseas while on

active duty. The first was in South Korea from 2009-2010 where I was the officer in charge of

overseeing airlift logistics operations. From 2013-2014, I served with a multi-national unit in

Hungary where I developed deployment plans with NATO in response to Russia’s invasion of

Crimea. I recently finished up my active duty career with the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews AFB

outside of Washington, D.C. While there, I was responsible for flying the nation’s most senior

leaders to include the Vice President, cabinet secretaries, members of Congress, and high

ranking military commanders. I continue my service today as a member of the Air National

Guard and have maintained Dunwoody as my legal residence during my entire military career.

My wife Lauren and I have been married for over two years and look forward to welcoming

our first child later this year.

I’m running for Congress because I have the courage, integrity and commitment to help repair

Washington’s failures. Career politicians and the special interest have corrupted our

institutions and failed our people. We need to return to a model of citizens stepping up to

put service to the country ahead of party and personal interest. I’ve never run for office and

am a true outsider. I’m committed to public service and returning accountability to our

politics.

My priorities if elected

1. Reign in the growth of government – balance the budget, impose term limits on

members of Congress and replace the ACA with a sensible alternative.

2. Grow the economy – reform our tax and trade policies to encourage economic activity

and domestic investment while also reducing burdensome regulations on small

business.

3. Provide for our nation’s defense – implement a sensible immigration policy that

protects American interests, defeat ISIS, reign in Russia and N. Korea, bring DoD policy

into the 21st century and finally fix our VA system.

Page 3

Bob Gray, Republican Party

Bob Gray has spent over three decades as an international

business leader in the technology industry. As a business

executive, he has worked with dozens of Fortune 500 and private

equity companies across a range of industries. His responsibilities

have taken him to nearly 30 countries including China, France,

Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea,

Switzerland, and the UK. As an investor in technology businesses,

Bob serves on the board of directors of Ammacore, an Alpharetta-

based North American network solutions company.

Bob comes from a family with a legacy of service. Richard Gray, his father, flew B-47s in the

USAF during the Cold War while his uncle, Robert Patton, flew F-111s. Bob earned his pilot

training as a civilian while studying aerospace engineering at Georgia Tech, where he was

also on a competitive swimming scholarship.

After Bob’s son, Marshall was diagnosed with dyslexia, Bob led the development of the Swift

School in Roswell, Georgia. Today, the Swift School is the largest school in the Southeast

devoted to teaching children with dyslexia. Bob has also advised North Point Community

Church, Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church and the YMCA on various strategic

expansion plans and programs.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and

studying Accounting at the University of Illinois, Bob earned a Masters in Business

Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Bob is married to his high school sweetheart, Susanne. The Grays raised their four children –

Madeline, Marshall, Savannah and Allie – in Johns Creek, Georgia where they currently

reside. They’re active members at Passion City Church where they serve in a variety of

volunteer positions.

Feeling the competitive spirit, Bob has raced in dozens of triathlons and other events and

continues to do so. He enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and hiking with his family. A lifetime

member of the NRA, Bob is a member of the River Bend Gun Club and is often at

Sharpshooters in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Bob Gray has 3 Campaign Priorities:

1) Fuel The Economy

2) Control Federal Spending

3) Ensure National Security

Page 4

Karen Handel, Republican Party

Karen Handel is a lifelong conservative with demonstrated success in both the public and

private sector.

Karen was first elected in 2003 as Chairman of the Fulton County (Georgia) Board of

Commissioners. She inherited a budget with a $100 million deficit. Yet, despite a Democrat

majority, Karen balanced that budget and each budget under her tenure – with sound

spending reductions and without tax increases. Karen gained statewide and national

attention by leading the effort to remove the corrupt Sheriff from office after an audit

revealed millions in missing and misappropriated funds. Karen’s efforts led to the recovery of

nearly all of the missing funds.

Karen’s private sector experience includes executive management positions with CIBA Vision

and the accounting firm of KPMG. She also served as president and CEO of the North Fulton

Chamber of Commerce, where she brought the chamber from the brink of bankruptcy to

solvency, while driving an aggressive economic development program that helped create

tens of thousands of jobs in North Metro Atlanta.

Priorities if elected:

1. Enact pro-growth policies that lower taxes and reduce regulatory burden while

tackling the nation's crippling debt.

2. Work with Sec. Tom Price to repeal and replace Obamacare with a sustainable,

patient centered, market based solution.

3. Tackle the nation's illegal immigration problem by securing our borders.

Page 5

Judson Hill, Republican Party

Judson Hill has made public service the cornerstone of his life for

over 30 years. As an Assistant U.S Attorney under President Reagan,

Captain in the Georgia State Defense Force, State Senator, small

business owner for over 25 years and leader in the community,

Judson has the experience and proven record of getting results for

those he serves.

As a State Senator, Judson tackled the difficult issues head on and

gained a reputation as a hardworking conservative leader who is

committed to his constituents. While in the Senate, he worked to help make Georgia the No.

1 state in which to do business.

Judson was named “Legislator of the Year” by James Magazine as well as national “Legislator

of the Year” by the American Legislative Exchange Council. He has been endorsed by Speaker

Newt Gingrich, US Senator Marco Rubio, DeKalb County Commissioner Nancy Jester, Rear

Admiral Wendi Carpenter (USN Ret.), Georgia Right to Life, Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren,

as well as many others.

Judson is the only candidate in this race who has turned conservative rhetoric into

conservative law. He will be a strong voice for the 6th District and will work everyday to

advance the conservative principles of liberty, limited government and fiscal responsibility in

Congress.

If elected:

1. Judson will fight to establish affordable patient-centered solutions for healthcare that

both expand choice and decrease cost by repealing and replacing Obamacare with a

healthcare system that works for Georgia families.

2. Judson will work to pass a Balanced Budget Amendment and will use his experience

as Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee to pass fiscally responsible spending

reforms and cut unnecessary regulations that hurt small businesses to help promote

job growth as well as pass the Fair Tax.

3. Judson Hill will be a fierce advocate of building a wall along our Southern border and

strengthening and enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.

4. Judson has always supported our armed forces who work tirelessly to protect America

and our freedoms. In Washington, he will make national security a priority. He is

committed to ensuring that the men and women in uniform have all the resources

necessary to execute their mission both at home and abroad and to adequately care

for them when they return home.

Page 6

Amy Kremer, Republican Party

Amy Kremer was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She

graduated from Lassiter High School and attended Auburn

University. As a Delta flight attendant she traveled the world,

reinforcing in her mind that America is truly the greatest

nation in the world. She is the mother and one of the founders

of the modern day Tea Party movement. She was co-founder

of Tea Party Patriots and Chairman of the Tea Party Express.

She has been on the front lines, fighting alongside former

Congressman Tom Price to stop Obamacare and put healthcare back into the hands of the

patient and doctor.

Over the last nine years she has carried the conservative values of the 6th district with her as

she worked tirelessly to preserve freedom and liberty through electing conservatives like

Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and many many others. She has been fighting for

conservative issues and candidates across the country, now she is ready to fight directly for

the 6th district.

On The Issues

Protect America We need to secure our borders and stop illegal immigration. To ensure that

we can continue to protect our country from new attacks in the 21st century we need to

reinvest in our troops and military technology.

Create Jobs We need to cut government regulations that stifle job growth and create a pro-

growth environment to stimulate the economy.

Repeal and Replace Obamacare We need to replace the ACA with patient centered solutions

that increase choice and reduce costs.

Cut Taxes We need a fairer flatter tax with lower rates that will benefit all Americans. We need

to cut the corporate tax (the highest in the country) to jumpstart the economy and spur job

growth.

Local Control of Education It’s time to return autonomy to a local level by providing greater

choice for students and parents, improving the education of Georgia’s children.

Support our Veterans The care at the VA needs to be at least as good and responsive as the

care that everyone else can access or we need a way for our veterans to get care away from

the VA system.

Page 7

Bruce LeVell, Republican Party

Bruce LeVell is the Managing Partner of Dunwoody Diamonds USA

and LeVell Properties, LLC. As the former Chairman of the

Gwinnett County Republican Party, Bruce was tapped to serve as

the Executive Director of President Donald Trump’s National

Diversity Coalition during the 2016 campaign. He was honored to

be a Trump Campaign Top Media Surrogate for national news and

a National Delegate for Trump at the 2016 Republican National

Convention.

Bruce is an active community leader, devoting time to serve on the Emory University Board

of Visitors and the Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta Advisory Board. He is the former Chairman

of Operations of MARTA. Bruce is also a former member of the Clayton County Regional

Police Academy Advisory Board and the Victory World Church Board. He resides with his wife

Sharon and their children Leah and Kyle in Sandy Springs, Georgia. His family attends North

Point Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.

I have three main campaign pledges:

1. I am the only candidate who has not and will not take any Special Interest or PAC

money unlike my opponents who have. To the homeowners, small business owners,

and voters of the Georgia 6th Congressional District I say this: I am the only Candidate

who is for the People and by the People - I will not accept any Special Interest or PAC

money.

2. I will get transportation infrastructure for the 6th District and lower our taxes. Traffic is

gridlocking our District. More transportation infrastructure means less traffic. That

will benefit all citizens of the 6th. The President’s Infrastructure plan will be the

biggest buildout since Eisenhower. I plan to make sure our District, home to the I-85 /

Georgia 400 corridor (rated the worst traffic in the United States) makes the most of

this historic opportunity and gets the infrastructure we need. No one has a working

relationship with the Administration and Transportation Secretary Chao like I do. Tom

Price was known as the Healthcare Congressman. I will be known as the Infrastructure

Congressman.

I promise to serve 8 years / 4 terms maximum and push for term limits. No Member of

Congress should be able to serve longer than a President of the United States.

Page 8

William Llop, Republican Party

I graduated from Mercer University in 1984. After graduation, I

started a Public Accounting Firm. I also studied law at Atlanta Law

School and John Marshall in the early 90's.

I am not a career politician, rather my career has led me to politics. I

am the best person for the job because for over 30 years I have been

a small business owner as a licensed CPA. Advising small businesses

and average Americans.

Priorities if elected:

1. I am completely aware of how the tax code is effecting the tax payer and most

importantly, the middle income Americans who are paying the most tax. I know how the tax

code needs to be changed to make these people successful. To put more money in our

pockets, which in turn, puts more money in our local economy.

2. I am also aware how regulations in government are tying the business owners hands

behind his back and effecting the success of these businesses. We need to get government

regulations out of small business.

3. Also, what is important to me is our public Education system in America and in our district

is failing us. This process needs to be fixed so they can be more successful. Public education

needs to be in the hands of the Educator and I am for school choice.

4. On the college level, student loan debt is at $1.2B and counting. The government needs

to step up and Stop Predatory Lending.

5. On the stance of immigration, I live it. I am a first generation American. My father, landed

on Ellis Island, Legally. I know how to fix the immigration policy in America. We have an

investment in these illegal immigrants. They have joined our communities in some instances,

for decades. These people need to afforded a legal status and never be allowed to vote.

6. On the stance of a fair wage, we all need to step up and support a fair wage. The small

business owner does not pay minimum wage. The small business owner hires the worker

over the long haul with training and self respect. Big business is a revolving door. Their

employment model requires little skill, but more importantly, little training. This is corporate

welfare and we need to get these employers off the government payroll and give self respect

back to the people.

These are the things I have real life experience with. These are the things I have real

knowledge about because I work with it every day.

Page 9

Dan Moody, Republican Party

Dan is known for his record of quiet accomplishment in

the State Senate where he balanced the Senate Caucus

budget singlehandedly and helped make significant cuts to

balance the state budget. He also boosted charter

schools, voter ID, choice in health care and tougher sex

offender registration laws. In 2005, Governor Sonny

Perdue named Dan Legislator of the Year for his work.

Senator David Perdue recently endorsed Dan’s campaign

calling him “one of us” who will work to implement conservative policies in Washington.

“There is plenty of political yelling in Washington these days,” Moody said. “I will join

Senator Perdue as an effective doer, and I can’t wait to get started on repealing Obamacare,

cutting the federal budget and overhauling our tax code.”

Moody is a retired Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, an electrical engineer by trade and a

small business owner. He lives in Johns Creek with his wife, Stephanie.

Dan was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2002. He was known for taking on the hard

jobs no one else wanted and helped deliver on the promises made by the GOP in its historic

takeover of state government. A strong believer in term limits, Dan led by example. He chose

to leave office in 2010 and has since become a champion for small business growth across

Georgia.

Dan is running for Congress because he wants to put our government back to work in the

areas our Founding Fathers intended — national security, the protection of our rights and

infrastructure improvements. He sees a broken government that is not responsive to the

fundamental needs of our nation.

Interacting with citizens across Georgia’s sixth district, Dan has seen that people are tired of a

government that does not deliver on promises. They are fed up with career politicians who

don’t know when to leave. They want government to get back to doing the things citizens

can’t do by themselves.

Dan is an engineer – he likes to fix things that don’t work. He is a small business owner with

expertise in structure, leadership, financial responsibility and strategies that yield long-term

success. These are the skills for this job, and he looks forward to getting to work on our

nation’s priorities.

Page 10

Kurt M. Wilson, Republican Party

I am an ordinary family man living the American Dream.

From my earliest days as a young boy, enduring 12 moves

before the 4th grade from Indiana to West Virginia to

Alabama, my perspective and character were shaped by

unexpected, chance encounters with people and a

supernatural God.

As a young man in Alabama, I was introduced to church,

became a state runner- up in my weight class for boxing, and enlisted in the United States

Army, where I earned the Soldier of the Year accolade. It was in this season that I became a

student of people, of theology and of government.

I began my professional journey in the world of big business. As an instinctive and gifted sales

person with an unmatched work ethic, my ability to connect with all walks of people helped

me excel into leadership roles in corporate America. The success I attained in corporate

structures— the result of discipline and hard work— inspired me towards entrepreneurship.

Not intimidated by risk, I left the comfort and success corporate America had afforded me

and my family in order to build small businesses. As a job creator, mentor and leader, I have

achieved the American Dream through successful businesses and the resulting relationships

with employees, business partners, peer entrepreneurs, corporate executives and friends. I

enjoy a rich family life with my wife and four daughters, who each keep me grounded and in

check in their own way.

I believe in an exceptional America. I believe in an exceptional Georgia, the state I proudly

call home. Most importantly, I believe in the exceptional American individual. Realizing the

shortcomings and disappointments of the Federal Government, both in its elected officials

and its bureaucracy, I resolve to bring about solution-oriented, principle-based change that

can benefit all Americans.

If elected, I will:

1. Lead the effort to pass a Constitutional Amendment for Term Limits for the U.S.

Congress. This is my highest priority because without it our leaders won't have the

political courage or will to reverse the $20 trillion debt that is hanging over our head.

If we don't do that, we will bankrupt our country. We need citizen servant leadership

to get critical issues addressed.

2. Balance the budget to create a surplus every year.

3. Support radical tax reform. Repeal the 16th Amendment to redesign the federal tax

code with a flat or fair tax.

4. Lead efforts to defund and derail the onerous federal bureaucracy.

Georgia has a rich history and an even greater future. The residents of the 6th district are

exceptional, and have created a region that is prosperous, robust, diverse and promising.

Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, we all want our families to thrive so that we

can leave a better world for the generations to come.

We must work together to ensure our success, this comes through exhibiting mutual respect

and understanding, even when other's views do not fully align with our own. Focusing on our

common goals, will allow us to sustain a strong community and become a pillar of

achievement for the region.

I will lead with veracity, and intelligence coupled with transparency and compassion. I am

ready and able to effectively represent the hard-working, charitable, and persevering

constituents of Georgia’s 6th District.

Together, let’s bring the best of Georgia to Washington!

Page 12

Richard Keatley, Democratic Party

Democrat | Navy Officer | Veteran | Educator

Richard Keatley was born on February 1, 1965 in Jacksonville,

Florida. Richard’s stepfather, Ron, was a factory worker for

Goodyear and a proud member of the United Rubber Workers

Union, and his mother, Janet, raised four children and was a

homemaker who made it possible for his stepfather to do his part

in America's great industrial engine working in the Goodyear Plant

in Akron, Ohio. Richard’s parents instilled in him the values of

tolerance, freedom, creativity and following his dreams. Richard is now a Democratic

Candidate for U.S. Congress running in the April 18, 2017 Special Election in Georgia’s 6th

District.

Dr. Richard Keatley went to college on a Naval ROTC scholarship, graduating from Virginia

Tech with a degree in Nuclear Science in 1987. In 1992 Lieutenant Keatley received his

Surface Warfare Officer Qualifications aboard the U.S.S. Donald B. Beary. He served from

1987 until 1994 as an officer in the Navy and was stationed in Newport, Rhode Island;

Norfolk, Virginia and Naples, Italy, serving as a Navigation Officer, Engineering Officer and

Military Cargo Coordinator for the Mediterranean Region.

After his time in the Navy, he pursued his passion for languages and was awarded a full

fellowship to study at Yale University, where he received his Ph.D. For the last twelve years,

he has taught Italian and French language and culture at Georgia State University. Richard

and his wife Pina reside in Tucker, Georgia.

Dr. Keatley will bring his deep experience to bear in serving the people of Georgia’s 6th

District, focused on Senior Citizens, Veterans, Education, Security and developing the Jobs of

the Future in Georgia’s 6th district. He will be a powerful advocate for strong public schools

for all, defending the American people and making Atlanta’s northern Perimeter the nation’s

premier technology corridor by establishing a Sixth District Jobs Leadership Task Force.

Page 13

Jon Ossoff, Democratic Party

I was born and raised in Georgia and grew up here in the Sixth District.

Today I am a small business owner running a firm that produces

investigations of political corruption and organized crime for

international broadcasters.

Inspired as a student by Congressman John Lewis' memoir "Walking With

The Wind," I served as an intern in Mr. Lewis' D.C. office, setting me

down a path of public service before attending Georgetown University’s

School of Foreign Service, where I studied international relations.

I went on to earn a masters from the London School of Economics, and today my company

investigates corrupt politicians and organized crime. Our team has taken down human

traffickers, exposed dozens of corrupt officials around the world, and uncovered atrocities

committed by ISIS in Iraq.

Previously I was a national security aide in the U.S. Congress, working with our military and

intelligence community to keep Georgians safe while investigating wrongdoing by

government contractors. During five years as a Congressional aide, I learned how to get

things done in Washington, and I saw how Washington is broken.

On Capitol Hill and as a journalist, I’ve learned how to expose and fight the abuse of power. I

will use my experience and all of my energy to fight for Georgia and bring accountability to

Washington.

By running a positive, humble and kind campaign focused on local solutions to local

problems, our campaign and its thousands of supporters from across the political spectrum

are uniting to send a message that we can only be a prosperous and secure nation by fighting

for our core values.

Priorities if elected:

● Help grow Metro Atlanta’s economy into an economic powerhouse that is the envy of

the country, with a thriving high-tech sector attracting jobs and investment to

increase income and create opportunity;

● Work to lower prescription drug prices; keep the parts of the Affordable Care Act that

work and fix what doesn't;

● Fight to lower student loan interest rates and make college more affordable;

● Hold the President and all politicians accountable by investigating corruption, foreign

interference, and the abuse of power;

● Keep Georgia growing by standing up to reckless policies that irresponsibly run up the

deficit and hurt our economy.

Page 15

Ron Slotin, Democratic Party

Senate Leadership - Ron was born and raised in Atlanta, attended

North Fulton High School and received his BBA in marketing from the

University of Georgia.

At age 29, Ron was elected to the Georgia State Senate as a

Democrat in his first run for public office, representing the in-town

neighborhoods of Atlanta. Ron was re-elected two years later with an

even larger margin. Ron served on the Appropriations, Rules,

Education, Health and Judiciary committees and chaired the Senate Subcommittee on

Affordable Housing. He led the effort to bring investment, jobs and infrastructure

improvements back to in-town areas, promoted alternative transportation options and

authored legislation that successfully lowered state taxes.

Ron also supported the passage of the HOPE Scholarship, which has helped more than 1.4

million students gain access to a college or vocational education.

Private Sector Experience - After politics, Ron worked in international business in Brazil for

two years. He returned to Atlanta to become publisher of Atlanta Jewish Life magazine and

producer of the TV series Jewish TV.

For over a decade, Ron was the co-owner of Trio Media Group, an award-winning advertising

agency based in Sandy Springs. While at Trio, Ron was part of the business development

team that helped create the 2009 Georgia Entertainment Tax Credit, which spurred

tremendous growth of the film and entertainment industry in the state. In 2016, the film

industry’s economic impact on the state was over $7 billion.

The son of a steelworker and a hairdresser, a Christian rooted in the

American working class. At an early age my family instilled in me a

strong faith, trust in God, and to always value hard work in pursuit

of the American Dream.

Growing up I put those lessons into practice with my first paper

route at age 11. The American People are the hardest working.

Many to often feel forgotten by our political process, yet never

cease to work regardless of who's in charge politically. I want to work for the People.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science, I began working in the film and television industry as a

Property Craftsperson. While working in the film and television industry, I was elected to the IATSE

Local 44 Executive Board as a Property Craft Representative.

I am living in Dunwoody, GA with my wife Adea DeCarlo and our 2 dogs, Baci and Lucia.

I am running for Congress to represent the People, to be a check and balance to the powers of the

other federal branches. Congress needs an independent voice that will stand for the Constitution and

stand for Georgians, for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With your vote, I can be an

independent voice for an independent People.

Priorities if elected: I make three campaign promises.

1. The Economy. We jumpstart our economy by following Republican President Eisenhower’s

model of the interstate system. We put a lot of folks to work rebuilding our roads, bridges,

and waterway systems.

2. Fix our broken healthcare system. Both Obamacare and Ryancare fail the address the looming

health insurance bubble. Both parties instead opt for plans that are corporate welfare

handouts to the insurance industry. I will face our problems head on, no more kicking the can

down the road.

3. Veterans and military plan. Congress must check the purse, find the $6.5 trillion lost at the

Pentagon and hold those responsible accountable. Divert found funds to our Veterans as a

thank you. I will also call for Congress to declare wars. Our troops should not be in conflicts

without a war declaration, something not done since December 1941. We owe it to our sons,

daughters, brothers, and sisters in conflict to declare them wars or bring them home.

The current White House administration policies have encouraged

vibrant grassroots actions. I am one of those who’s felt called into

action by a burning desire to do more for what I know is right and

just. I am well regarded in the technology community here in

North Fulton District 6, and cannot in good conscious sit out this

round when one of the first opportunities to have a say in the

policies coming out of Washington, was right in front of me.

I am a naturalized citizen who immigrated to the US when I was 11 years old. I assimilated,

integrated into and embraced the challenge of the American Dream. I have been very blessed

in my life. I have a good job, a beautiful wife, three daughters and a son and live in Milton GA

I earned my BS in Mechanical Engineering and I am currently a Cloud Engineer with a large

local Telecom provider. I am a member of Alpharetta Technology Commission and I

enthusiastically join its mission to make Alpharetta the Technology City of the South. I am an

AT&T Aspire Mentor and I served on the Fulton County School Technical Advisory

Committee. I teach free website development workshops to anyone looking to advance their

career. I founded Alpharetta Venture & Incubator, which fosters startup businesses and will

soon be launching its first startup. I took ownership of Alpharetta Rails Coders, a web

development group, when its founders abandoned its 200 members without notice. I

recently started Alpharetta Ionic 2, whose technology drive mobile app development.

My goal as your representative is economic progress through technological innovation and

cultural integration. I believe we must educate and train our kids and our citizens with the

skills they need to be successful producers in our increasingly technical world. We hear terms

like Smart Cities, Internet of Things, Self-Driving Cars, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. I am

the only candidate that understands all these technologies that impact our society and what

policies are needed, if any.

As an Independent in Congress, I will reach across both aisles to work with Democrats and

Republicans. I will craft policies that benefit my constituents and all Americans. In cases

where policy proposed is what I believe to be un-American, I will stand up against those who

seek to devalue the American brand, no matter who they be. With my technical background

and our increasing reliance on technology, I will stand behind policies to make our

environment greener, our workers adequately trained and employed in the latest hi-tech

jobs. I strongly believe we need to do more to embrace our differences and integrate all

races into our society. We can no longer afford political division.
