CONDITIONS For fractions of a weight stage, the higher rate is to be ap-plied. From a particular weight, the authorities in certain countries look on your documents as goods to be declared. In this case, the customs duties arising will be charged to you.All price information is without guarantee. All prices are ex-clusive of value added tax. TRANSPORT INSURANCEWith DHL Express it is quite easy to insure your interna-tional express goods and documents without deductibles against damage and loss for up to US$ 5 million. Surcharge for the insurance company: 1 % of the declared value of the goods or at least 20,00 CHF. It is mandatory to take out a transport insurance policy when sending watches. Customer Service must be notified in advance of all items with a value of more than US$ 100 000,00.

VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT IS EASY TO CALCULATEEach item is charged according to its volumetric weight as soon as the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight.

MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS (CM) AND WEIGHTS PER PACKAGE

For items with a volume of more than 5 000 cm³, the price will be calculated on the basis of the volumetric weight, if this figure is higher than that of the actual weight. The volumetric weight is calcula-ted according to the formula in the next column: the weight calculated by DHL will be used as the basis for all goods and documents when issuing the bill.

Maximum weight per air waybill = 1 000 kg. If your item exceeds this, please complete an additional air waybill. If a package exceeds the maximum dimensions, please contact DHL by telephoning +41 (0)848 711711 (0,08 CHF/min.) for further clarification.
