Delphi Pico Scope is an essential diagnostic tool, used to break down complex electrical signals and analyse the root

cause of a fault.

Electronic Diesel Injector Test Kit (Buzz Tool)

This first-of-its-kind all-makes tool is a handheld device that is quick and easy to use

with simple steps and clear menus.

Advantages for the Technician:

The technician can easily perform a quick, accurate diagnosis of theelectrical part of a common rail solenoid injector, on-vehicle or off-vehicle.

Measure coil resistance and inductance. Injector coils have very low resistance and inductance, not all canbe measured with a standard digital multimeter and the inductance would have to be measured with a mil-liohm meter.

Both these measurements are required to accurately determine the coils efficiency. Measurements are com-pared to the other Common Rail Injector in the set with any value being 20% higher than the other injectorshighlighting a failure.

Bosch, Siemens, Denso systems do not have a drive routine integrated in the ECU software, therefore thefunction is impossible without the Delphi Buzz Tool.

Complementing the existing Delphi on-vehicle test solutions for Common Rail injectors, the machine is the first step in the diagnostics process. It combines an electrical injector test with visual spray pattern checks, to identify individual injectors that have failed. Delphi’s Fuel Analyser is a first level diagnostic check of bio-fuel in the system and will assist the technician to diagnose if the fuel quality is a possible cause for system / component failure.
