HpSwami and the Anjana Suta Academy went to Russia from 5th May to 1st July, more or less!

Doyal nitai Das met us at the airport and then we took the train overnight to Nizni-nagar.

He used to be a policeman.

When we woke up on the train and looked out our window it was like we had gone back in time 55 years and to a different world.

There were Ginger Bread houses, with little old Grannys tending their gardens out back with goats bleating and butting.

HpSwami kept having flash-backs to when he was 5-years old!

In Nizni-nagar there was a Zonal Festival. Bhakti- vijnana Swami was there.

He was the first devotee that Prabhupada preached to in Russia (I think?).

Now he is a Guru, GBC and reads and translates Sanskrita.

We had to sing and give class.

It was frightening.

So many serious devotees there.

We went on Hari-nama Sankirtana the next day.
