JVM-2 gleamed with the buzz of activities of its first new session and JVM family whole-heartedly welcomed its new faculty members. Celebration of Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and Janmashtami added the festive and patriotic flavour in the air. Science Exhibition on the Independence Day put up a grand show of talent of our learner's ignited minds.School is a place where true responsible citizens are formed, and formation of Student's council gives the students a sense of responsibility. Likewise every year this year also JVM student's council was formed in the investiture ceremony. In the middle of all the activities, students did not forget to pay their heartfelt thanks to their teachers and therefore they arranged a beautiful show on Teacher's Day which left all the teachers overwhelmed Hindi Saptah(8-13 September) was observed with great enthusiasm and it had a great package of wonderful activities of encouraging the language under the guidance of Hindi department. Next week put our genius back to work harder for their summative assessment/half yearly exam. The phase was over with the declaration of results and PTM and then came the most awaited event of CBSE East Zone Handball Championship-2014 (16-18 October), leading to the burst of joy, blast and victory later on it extended to the boom of Diwali, which went on till the autumn break ended. Returning on 30th October, the campus was busy with routine activities and still working to get more positive and heart whelming news in the coming days. Campus Round-upThe month of August put all our little genius into preparation of their Formative Assessment and Unit Test1. JVM-2 gleamed with the buzz of activities of its first new session and JVM family whole-heartedly welcomed its new faculty members.Celebration of Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and Janmashtami added the festive and patriotic flavour in the air. Science Exhibition on the Independence Day put up a grand show of talent of our learner's ignited minds.School is a place where true responsible citizens are formed, and formation of Student's council gives the students a sense of responsibility. CBSE East Zone Handball Tournament 2014“Work while you work , play while you play”. Following this golden rule , after a passing a rigourous schedule of studies and exam with flying colours , our little champs put their heart and soul into most awaited sports event i.e. CBSE East Zone Handball Championship.It was the second time that JVM got selected to host this prestigious sport event at the zonal level. And it was inaugurated with a grand show put up by the students of the host school. 18 schools from far and wide participated with their teams. Throughout the event the atmosphere was a blast shout for winning could be heard everywhere and amidst the screams for victory and tears of defeat the event came to an end.Various dignitaries including CBSE officials witnessed the event and made it fair and successful.

Every year 14 November is celebrated as BalDiwas in the sweet memory of Pt. JawaharLal Nehru. In JVM, this day is celebrated as a special day for the children. This time also , teachers in both the campuses (JVM-1 and JVM-2 ) presented special school assemblies to reflect their love and care for the children. Their special performences( d a n c e , singing , play) and later on s w e e t d i s t r i bu t i on a m o n g t h e s t u d e n t s a d d e d a n unforgettable flavour to the routine of the s t u d e n t s w h i c h w a s very much enjoyed by them.

English language workshop at

JPS , NoidaA training workshop on English language was held at JPS Noida from 3 November to 8 November 2014. The workshop was attended by all the English teachers from different schools of jaiprakashsevasansthan . Recently JPS Noida has become the resource training centre for all the Jaypee schools. Mr.R. Meghanathan(NCERT), Ms.Poojasi rohi (communicat ion sk i l ls) Mrs. MeenakshiKhar (NCERT) Mrs . Dolly Dhawan (Activities based Teaching )Mrs.Gazala and other renowned person took sessions with the participants. Dr.Neelima Sharma the core consultant of ASL (Assessment of Speaking and listening ) took up a special session and made clear the vision behind ASL . Sessions were also taken up by Cdr.S.J.Singh( President , Education Jaypee Group ) on Collocation , Cdr. A.Bhattacharya ( Vice Precident , Education Jaypee Group) on individual difference and Col.D. Chaudhary on Reading cards and language cards . The training programme was highly enriching and productive . It gives us a clear understanding about our learners as well as the problems during the teaching with their solutions .

“A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.” And to keep a healthy body we need to nurture our mind too. Catering this need of hour, J V M o r g a n i s e d a n in t roductory sess ion onSahajyoga in the school p r e m i s e s o n 2 8 Nov.,2014. In this session the students as well as the teacherswere given the simple tips of yoga to keep body and mind in the perfect balance.

Under the current of the nationwide mission of the “AADHAR CARD” preparation, JVM Anoopshaharjoined hands with NSDL. A camp was organized in the school premises where all the students, teachers along with the localites availed the opportunity and filled their forms to get an essential valid identity for every citizen i.e. AADHAR CARD.

12 August 2014, JVM has established another milestone in the field of co- curricular activities by organizing a Youth Mock Parliament. This mega event was organized by the school library on the auspicious occasion of National Library Day and International Youth Day. The program was started with the lightning of lamp, offering flower on the picture of Dr.S.R.Ranganathan [Father of Library and Information Science in India] and inaugural speech by Mr. OmkarPandey. More than 50 students participated in this event and made it a really fruitful event under the guidance o f t h e i r teachers and t he coordinato r ( M r . OmkarPan d e y ) . R u l i n g Party was headed by MasterShu b h a m R a j p u t with his strong ministerial team – Finance Minister – MansiVarshney, Home Affair Minister – Ananya Jindal, Agriculture Minister – Mayuri, HRD – Aanchal, Petroleum – Purnima, Defence – Kuldeep, External Minister – Namrata Singh, Railway – Anshika and IT Minister – MansiAgarwal. On the other hand opposition party was led by Master Umang and his 35 members. Mr Rajeev Bhargavwas the honourable speaker of the session and did full justice to his role. The chief guest of this occasion was Mr Rajeev Saxena, Director of Jaypee University Anoopshahr. Mrs. IshaSanyalDasGupta, Mr. Shubhash Chandra and Mr. SaleemPeater were the three eminent members of jury. They selected– Miss Namrta Singh and MasterUmangwere selected as the best minister and the best opposition leader respectively. The grand show came to its end with award function, closing speech of the chief guest, and vote of thanks by the Principal Mr. T. Dasgupta.

A Principal conference was held in Jaypee Vidya Mandir, Anoopshahr on 25th December, 2014 under the guidance of Cdr S J S i n g h J i ( P r e s i d e n t , E d u c a t i o n Jaypee group). Vice President E d u c a t i o n Jaypee group col D Chaudhary, Cdr Bhattacharya and Mr. MP Sharma expressed their views for the welfare of schools.
