Directions: After visiting the “Virtual Dichotomous Key Activity” website (previous slide), document the names of each tree. Be sure to look at the previous slide to see what number corresponds to which tree on the website. Your answers can be written on the back of your “Insect Worksheet” in the blank space or on a blank sheet of paper.

Directions: Go to the “Identification of Insects online Dichotomous Key” website (previous slide) in order to identify all 6 insects found on your insect worksheet. Write the common name on the line next to the number & fill in the corresponding Taxonomy table on the back of the worksheet. Hint: once you find the image of the insect on the website, click on the name to access the taxonomy.
