Lecture, Lunches and More!

I Am Your Doctor and This Is My Humble OpinionPresenter: Jordan GrumetTuesday, July 28 10:00 am FreeWhat is it like to be your primary care physician? How do day-to-day pressures, concerns and unfolding developments impact the one who looks after your health and well-being?

What does your doctor feel about the responsibilities and nagging questions that are an integral part of every waking hour? Dr. Grumet has written a book with this title and doctors, nurses and ancillary support

workers all relate strongly to his descriptions of the front lines of medical care. Lay people who care about the future of their own medical needs and all who’ve felt the benefits of kindly delivered care, resonate with his words. We are fortunate to have Dr. Grumet come to Dickinson Hall so don’t pass up this opportunity to look at an important part of your life from a behind the scenes perspective.

Or Current Resident

Dear Members,Time to begin again! I once asked a group of seniors if there was a time when one’s decisions were complete and one could simply live life. They laughed. Life always presents choices, and I long ago abandoned the quest for the “right” choice and opted to pray for help making good choices instead.

I believe joining the staff at Dickinson Hall to be one of my most recent good choices! Our beautiful building and grounds set the scene for

a community rich with experience and friendship. I imagine the seasons here to be marked with laughter and vibrancy. As I learn my way, our members have graciously welcomed me and given me their names multiple times, which I hope to eventually, remember.

I see Dickinson Hall as a great foundation on which to build a wider welcome to new members and friends. I look forward to making decisions together as we begin our new season of life.
