Learn a new sport, make new friends, and have a great time this summer at the YWCA! THURSDAY JUNE 8 TH Activities 5-8 Now thru July 6 th ! Look at the forecast for tomorrow’s weather in the Geysburg Times or at www.geysburgtimes.com. Draw a picture of what it will look like outside tomorrow. Be sure to include yourself in this picture. Write the words SUMMER FUN vertically down the left side of a sheet of paper. Cut out words from the Geysburg Times newspaper that begin with each leer of the words SUMMER FUN and aach them to your paper beside the appropriate leer. Look through today’s Geysburg Times newspaper for an article that originated in a different part of the state, country or world that you would like to visit. Cut out the article and aach it to a sheet of paper. Write a paragraph on the back of the sheet of paper about why you would like to visit this place and what type of transportation you will use to get there. Find your favorite comic strip in the Geysburg Times newspaper. Cut it up and then pass it to a friend to see if they can put the comic back in the correct order. Now make your own comic strip on a sheet of paper.
