Street View in OS Roam

• Default Street View mapping is now OS VectorMap Local Colour Raster

• OS retired the 1:10000 raster product that was previously used. Still available in Data Download.

• Several alternative maps available in Basemaps

• Note that 3 vector maps available, making feature selection possible

Roam Print options

• User scale selection – within range

• Legend now available. PDF provided in zip file with your map. Not available for Historic maps.

• Improved preview – Content tab and Layout tab.

Data Download basket

• Options to change Format, Version, Layers now more visible.

OS MasterMap

• OS MasterMap Topography - 2 new formats added in last 12 months: – DWG - Auto CAD

Drawing format– File Geodatabase

• Select format of choice in basket

• New product – Building Heights

• Join to topography using TOID

OS data changes

• Data updated regularly, but lots of updates in September 2014, including new versions of: OS MasterMap topography, OS Terrain 50 contours and Digital Terrain model, OS Vector Map Local, OS Vector Map District.

New geology data• More detailed data from British Geological

Survey added to Geology Download:• 1:10,000 geological data• 1:25,000 geological data

• NOTE: only partial coverage – map shows areas covered by 1:10000 (less covered by 1:25000).

• More will be added when available.

• Plus other new datasets:• 1:625,000 hydrogeological data• Geological Indicators of Flooding• Permeability Indices• Onshore Borehole Index

New Marine Download service

• Marine Download added in August 2014

• Replaced 2 old download services (one for raster data, one for vector data)

• Remember that you can reorder data in My Previous Downloads

• Possible to change to a later Version, not earlier

• Can select different Format and Layers
