Onboard and ashore we will work with you to accommodate your specifi c interests and tastes. Th e cruise director will assist to set up special land adventures and the chef will sit down with you to understand any dietary preferences. One of our resident onboard experts will listen attentively and answer your questions about your specifi c areas of interest to make your cruise enlightening.

Th e experience we provide means something diff erent to everyone, but assistance is available at all hours for any request large or small. Our staterooms are the most spacious in small ship cruising and off er all the amenities of a modern hotel. Every stateroom has a picturesque view of the ever-changing scenery and most feature a private balcony.

Discover the rich maritime history of this charming city during a tour through the historic district of Norfolk. The tour will make a stop at Naval Station Norfolk, where you will have the opportunity to see aircraft carriers. On the tour, you will also see historic homes from the 1907 Jamestown Exposition.

Norfolk Botanical Gardens

Narrated Beach Tour Explore Virginia Beach during a relaxing riding tour through this beautiful port. This guided bus tour includes stops at the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse as well as the breathtaking Norfolk Botanical Gardens, which feature 155 acres of breathtaking scenery, coastal waterways, and miles of pedestrian trails.

Learn about the history, legend and lore of the Outer Banks as you travel to the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kitty Hawk, NC. Enjoy an introduction by a park ranger and learn about the fascinating history of aviation that took place at this site. After the introduction, tour the Visitor’s Center where the Wright brothers’ story is told through exhibits and reproductions or climb Big Kill Devil Hill for a breathtaking view of the area from sound to sea.

Hop aboard and discover Beaufort’s historic district from atop a 1967 English double-decker bus. Enjoy a narrated trolley tour of Wilmington’s Historic District. After the trolley tour you will visit Bellamy Mansion, one of North Carolina’s most spectacular examples of antebellum architecture. After the mansion tour, there will be time to browse the many shops and sites that are within walking distance to the ship.

Myrtle Beach, SCRecognized as one of America’s most spectacular beaches, Myrtle Beach is an exciting city with dazzling theatres and unique shops all situated along the coastline.

Getting to Baltimore and Your ShipTh e ship will be docked at Baltimore Inner Harbor and is easily accessed from the arrival location.National Aquarium501 East Pratt St.Baltimore, MD 21202

FlyingBaltimore-Washington International Airport is the best airport to fl y into. Th e airport is only approximately 15 minutes to the ship by taxi

Taking the TrainAmtrak provides regular train service to Baltimore Penn Station. Th e station is approximately 10 minutes to the ship by taxi.

Arriving Early?If you arrive the day before your cruise, there are several hotels within a few minutes of the ship. Please ask for the American Cruise Lines rate. Each hotel can arrange for a taxi service to the Fernandina Beach Marina.

Boarding ProcessBoarding the ship takes place between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Th e ship leaves promptly at 1:30 p.m. (earlier if all passengers are onboard). From the moment you arrive, the American Cruise Lines deckhands will handle everything for you. From helping you with your luggage to assisting you onboard—we will handle everything with care. Th ere are no restrictions on luggage, but it is recommended to bring as few bags as necessary. Suitcases less than 10 inches high may be stowed under your bed.

Cruise ConclusionOn the last day of your cruise, your ship will be docked at the Charleston City Marina located at 17 Lockwood Drive, Charleston, SC 29401. For passengers fl ying home, American Cruise Lines off ers transportation from the ship in Charleston to: Charleston International Airport.
