Digital DNA calls for companies to enter the 2020 Responsible Business Awards in Northern Ireland

• The Responsible Business Awards in Northern Ireland open for entries

Digital DNA is calling for responsible businesses to enter the 2020 Responsible Business Awards in

Northern, run by Business in the Community.

Digital DNA’s Chief Executive, Simon Baillie says: “We are specifically encouraging companies to enter the

Responsible Digital Innovation category – for an organisation that best uses innovative, digital solutions to

tackle environmental and social challenges through a project or initiative.”

Applications can be made online at www.bitcni.org.uk/awards . Entries will close on Friday 28 February

2020 at 5:00 pm, and the winners will be revealed at a glittering gala dinner at the ICC Belfast on

Thursday 28 May 2020.

This is the fifteenth year of these awards, which are run by Business in the Community, and taking place in

partnership with JP Corry and SPAR and in association with Ulster Business and U105. They seek to

recognise and celebrate firms in Northern Ireland that are making a difference by taking practical action to

address pressing social and environmental issues. They are FREE to enter and open to firms here of all

sizes and from all sectors. There are eleven categories up for grabs in 2020:

Business in the Community NI Managing Director, Kieran Harding, said: “The Responsible Business

Awards recognise and reward firms in Northern Ireland that at embracing the journey to build better

workforces, create a sustainable economy and healthy communities.

“The awards are FREE to enter and I’d encourage every business, no matter how big or small, to have a

look at the range of categories and get your entries ready. If organisation is acting as a force for good, we

want to hear from you.”

To help companies to create the best possible entries, Business in the Community is running a Showcase

& Share Breakfast at Allstate NI on Monday 11 November 2019 from 8:30 – 10:30 am where those

who’d like to enter can gain an insight, tips and advice on how best to put together their applications.
