1. On the Bowdoin library site, choose Databases > Social Explorer.

2. Choose Maps & Tables & then Start Here under Explore U.S. Demography.

3. Enter in “Portland, Maine.” 4. Use Change Data in top-left hand corner to

Browse Category & Year to see Portland change over time. (Feel free to do your hometown too.)
