nspired by my friend’s passion and creativity for pho-tography and the advertisments for Canon cameras, this product advertisement for CMK Photog-raphy seeks to capture her style by showing the ribbons of ideas flowing into her as she is tak-ing a photo. This poster seeks to emphasize that photography can capture everything as long as one has the creativity to do it.

reated by watching my brother play and watch televi-sion, this poster looks to delve into a child’s imagination. Things like dinosaurs, rockets, ships, and talking animals are just a small sampling of what goes on in a child’s world. The paper styled background captures the youthful practice of coloring and doodling on pages upon pages. This piece encourages one to imagine.

Project ThreeSelf PortraitAdobe Illustrator CS5.12012

his piece was my first major work done in Illustrator. It is a traced and stylized self portrait that gives a sense of realism with the color scheme chosen. Many of the outlines are darker varia-tions of the color they enclose and they often have tapered ends. The glasses have highlights on the lenses and frame, giving them a metallic look. The rays serve to draw attention to the subect.

y second major Illustra-tor project was inspired by small Hershey’s Drops in a bag. Instead of the small round pieces of chocolate, I decided to make the chocoloate into cubes. The bag is the same style as its real world counterpart. This project incorpo-rated a scatter brush for the cubes popping out of the bag, and a pattern or cubes overlaid on a gradient for the background.
